Hello guys.
So I got an idea when I was just brainstorming about some cool ideas for ZARP Dark RP, aswell for DR. So I thought, you guys should do something like this: So you are in game (as admin or higher can do this). And you think, hey he can be mod and hee won't abuse. So he's ready to make an apply. You admin's can do something. Because everyone hate's abusers. So I thought, to make an group. The group is called: "trusted" Why this group? This is like an extra "safe" to reduce abusers! Commands: Nothing! Why nothing? Because you are trying to see, if they are worth to be a staff. So now, if someone makes an mod apply, they first have to be trusted, to reduce "abusive mod's" Extra notes: if a "user" want's to turn out to a trusted with a apply,he will have to post this apply: Open the spoilers for more info! Seems kind of pointless and will just make getting mod harder

It doesn't!
Because admin's also can feel like someone can be mod or admin etc. Like now because I am admin on DR, I can make (if this get accepted) him a trusted. Which "open's" the thread for mod! It also doesn't make getting mod harder. It makes mod less abusive. Because if admin's are very active, they can see who actually can be a mod or not. So it aint make a mod harder to get. It makes it more secure! |

I don't feel this is needed much Agent. I mean we have a vote on the applications anyway and base it off of how trustworthy and mature they are anyway. This only increases the wait time for people to apply and really wastes time. Sorry but I think this is useless.

I think mods should get a Trial Mod rank when starting off. With NO extra powers. They are to be supervised by admins/super admins during the time they are on. This can help them learn the ropes and help remove abusers. The time for something like this would only be 1 week.

I Like the idea! We had this on an old TTT server i used to play, the process to getting Mod required you to be trusted rank, which was earned by being a credit to the community, having a very active account and being an all round liked and respected player. i support this idea simply because i've seen it work before.
Although i think it should be made so that the Admins etc. just make you trusted rank when they feel its earned instead of applying for it. |
