Which server is this suggestion for?: Semi Serious DarkRP

What would you like to add?: I would like to add quiz after your read rules.

How would it benefit the server/why do you want this to be added?: It would decrease rule breaking and would force beginners to read rules before they can join gameplay.

Additional notes: This quiz would ask beginners simple questions, they would have three choices to choose, one of them would be right and two of them would be wrong, Questions like: "What is RDM?", "What is RDA?", "What is NLR?", "Can you taze mutants?", "Can you build on the streets?" etc. Thank you for you time.

PS: I don't know if you're able to do this, but this is just suggestion

I agree that it would help out newbies but as long as it wouldn't make me do the quiz every time I joined the server then I think it is a good idea

I think this would let new player know about rules like RDMing as mutant and all that.

+Support, I'm not a staff memeber, but I can see that most of the F1s they have to deal with are caused by newbs who have no idea what NLR, FDA, RDA, Random weaponcheck etc. is. It would make everyone's life easier.

Maybe instead of forcing it in their faces immediately, how about when they first open the f4 menu.

Nah. They would need it in their faces when logging in because this is only for new players since minges will know the rules but want to break them anyway. Possibly make it pop up after they walk a certain distance just to make sure they are connected fully and avoid any glitches like what happens with the F4 menu if you open it too quickly.

I completely agree with this thread. It may stop some rule breakers and help the new players.

Great idea, then the admins don't repeat the rules to everyone who breaks them.

I was a bit bored and decided to write a few questions. Please add more to them, it should have somewhere around 15 questions or so. If they suck just don't implement them, I still had fun inventing them.
1. What does NLR refer to?:
a)No Large Rifles - you may not have big guns as a citizen
b)New Life Rule - you may not come back to the place where you died for the next 3 minutes after your demise
c) No Large Ransoms - you may not charge big ransoms for releasing someone from captivity
2.What does RDM refer to?:
a)Random Death Match - killing someone for no / petty reason, e.g. mocking, insulting, refusing to help etc.
b)Random Dead Man - killing yourself for no reason, which is considered FailRP
3.Can you taze and arrest mutants as a police officer?:
a)Yes, it is totally legit
b)No, I can get demoted/warned for that
4.You are a police officer, and have a hunch that this guy has a weapon but lack any sort of proof. Can you check him for weapons without his permission?:
a)Yes, I'm a police officer and I can do whatever I want to
b)No, he needs to agree upon it first, and if he doesn't, then I can't do anything about it
5.You see a base with a KOS (Kill on sight) line on it and want to check it for illegal stuff. The owner isn't wanted, and your detector doesn't pick up anything. Can you enter the base and search it?:
a)Yes, I can enter the base immediately
b)No, I need a good reason to enter it first
c)Yes, but I need to get a warrant first (This one is tricky on purpose)
6.What is FearRP?:
a)If I'm not armed and see a mutant, I have to act as if I were scared of it and try to run away
b)I should act as if my character was scared of randomly walking into heavily protected bases and small shady alleys
c)If somebody points a gun at me, I can't take out my own gun and have to follow the assaulter's orders
7.You were walking in the middle of the street and got run over by a car. You are angry and want to do something about it. Your best choice is to:
a)Call the admin
b)Rage and break NLR trying to kill your killer
c)Accept that it is your fault, as cars are allowed to run over anyone on the road, and try to walk on the sidewalk next time

Seems like the thread was forgotten, so I'm bumping, as the quiz is a very splendid idea.

I support this. A quiz would ensure that there would be no questions regarding what is against the rules and what is not.

If by ignorant children you mean minges, well, they will always be present, and there isn't anything you can do about it. But it will definitely stop a lot of newcomers from breaking, at least most, of the rules.

To me it sounds like hl2rp but yeah i know what you mean.

It's just an idea from hl2rp, it works very well and makes people read the rules.
