Which server is this suggestion for?: |1|ZARP|DarkRP|Friendly Staff!|Semi Serious|

What would you like to add?: A new rule for the mutant that goes something along the lines of "Mutants can take players hostage in the sewers if in a group of 2 or more". This means that FearRP would come into it a little bit as in real life if a group of 2 or more mutants came up to you in a sewer with knives you are not going to run away or pull out an M249 and shoot them.

How would it benefit the server/why do you want this to be added?: I feel that if this rule was implemented then a vast amount of mutants would be more inclined to stick to the sewers and bunch up in group to patrol the sewers like they are supposed to rather than go to the surface and RDM people. This would also put good use to the prison cages found near the mutant spawn zone which would add for more RolePlay and police to mutant interaction as the police could conduct sewer raids to rescue hostages or pay bail for them in the sewers.

Could this be exploited in anyway, and if, how could we make it non-exploitable?: I don't think this could exploitable and think it would benefit the server.

The mutant is not supposed to have a brain, meaning they are simply not smart enough to take someone hostage.

Yes they can have a base, but the base is supposed to be a shack or even worse. The only thing a mutant is clever enough to do, is to attack someone when they enter their territory, which in this case is the sewers.

That would also mean that they would be allowed to /advert their hostages which is even more weird. A mutant advertizing a hostage wouldn't that be strange and kind of FailRP since it's ruining the concept of a mutant.

A mutant can always drag someone in a corner, wouldn't that count as a hostage somehow?

I have to agree with Optec, I believe if this rule was used, too many players will be underground and kept as hostages. The amount of players that troll the server will find this rule hilarious.

Well I guess but there will be no end to the amount of new players that turn mutant and come to the surface in groups to just mass RDM. I suggested this rule to get a more RolePlay oriented way of playing the mutant. The mutant doesn't have a brain but they are still allowed to kill anyone in the sewers so what would be so different if they took a player and body blocked them into one of the cells at their spawn? If they are kept more than 2 minutes without being killed or set free then they can report it. I personally would rather have mutants taking hostages in the sewers and staying down there making it harder for players to run freely down there rather than running around the surface throwing knives at peoples faces and RDM'ing everyone.

Overall I like this concept. But I think the amount of abuse and RDM would overcome the positive sides.

Kellmer, in the sewers mutants can kill anyone anyway so there wouldn't be any abuse. FearRP would be broken just as much as it is when a mugging is taking place anyway. This suggestion isn't useful anymore anyway.
