TOPIC: Dark Rp: Radio manager removal

personally i think that the raidio manager job should be removed because it only annoys people more than anything from what i've seen. Also i personally dont like my ears being assaulted by random music every time i pass by.
Suggestions: Remove the job entirely
- make it so they can stream to everyone at a low volume using an addon that lets them play music through spotify or
youtube.

this is my personal opinion i dont know if anyone else feels the same but i personally dont like the radio manager mic spam at its current state

its just an excuse to spam mics if anything a rule change to buildings only away from spawn town

I agree with P3N9U1N because I think they should either remove the job completely or use an addon where they are not required to spam it through their mics because most of the time they have a bad mics and literally make my ears bleed with it but I usually just mute them anyway.

Ok, here it is:

The radio manager is a fun, lighthearted class to play. People use it when they want to relax, unwind from the mass murder, and create an awesome atmosphere in an enviroment they created to entertain. When used properly, it enhances many roleplay elements, I myself have had some great times both as, and with, the radio manager class. I feel it would be unjust to remove it as it has served the atmosphere of ZARP well. We've had parties, nightclubs and even the Mayor has sometimes created his office and hired radio managers. Do we really want to lose this?

Now, onto what can be done which seems resonable. I think we have one option. When I originally suggested a change to the rules regarding radio managers, it was to prohibit them playing any music outside of a house, but that was changed so a car was acceptable. If we revert it back to it's original status, we can cut out the annoying 'car spammers' and keep the nightclubs and discos we all know and love.

I know I do it all the time.

It's a Roleplay class. It's fun. Remember it's not an excuse to micspam, it's ACTUAL music they're supposed to play. You can always demote for bad quality, meaning if he's playing the music through his microphone etc.

A remove is too tough.

Glad that Optec and Avian have stood up for this job.

A removal will not happen, players can always clientside mute them.
