What would you like to add?:
I recently had the idea to craft weapons like the rocketlauncher, the AR2 weapon or even the crossbow from half life 2

okay the amount of minerals required for them has to be reasonably high so that it will fit the name of rare and ultimate weapons that only a few people have that did put the effort in it to actually get them

How would it benefit the server/why do you want to add this?
it would make the crafter job much more attractive to use since i see crafters quite rarely


Would it be exploitable, and if, how could we make it non-exploitable?

I agree with the thought. but people with rocket launchers would be the death of the server. So [size=360:1ywxksdu]+support[/size] the idea but something a little less destructive then a rocket launcher

okay maybe RPGs could be a bit overpowered since they can lock on and track down any target you throw at them (i dont know if it is possible in this game but in half life 1 there were 2 modes of shots: the first was a missile that pursues the red laser pointer of the RPG and the second was a mode where you could disable this red dot so that the missile was just shot in the straight line where it was aimed on

i dont know if there is a possibility to shut this "laser lock on" down ..maybe there shouldnt be a RPG at all, but i think this weapon would deserve to be in the game when it has an extremely high cost and effort to get it. maybe the ammunition should cost some amount of minerals to craft either so that you will see them fired just on special occasions

or just implement a custom made grenade launcher from the download database from Gmod where you can download custom weapons...i think there should be a difference between a normal AWP that you can buy from a

Put it this way.

Minge joins.
Minge buys SAW.
Minge RDMs.
Staff mitigate against the minge soon enough.

It's not a big problem, and if anything were to be crafted - it should not add other weapons, etc. into gameplay.

2. really? they are not buyable..and i think someone WHO sells them wouldnt sell them for a low price since the amount of ressources required to craft them is too high. Another point that counters this point is: the "minge" has no money to buy them

still no valid points..i dont even get how you want to improve a server where everybody is too stubborn to see reasonable suggestions.

A SAW was a horrible example, I admit. They still have the ability to purchase guns from a gundealer, and RDM - it's soon dealt with. Crafting isn't everyone's thing.

i do understand that, and i do respect that people are a bit sceptic when it comes to things that can easily kill a person or more

Maybe a bazooka (RPG) Cost like 50 rubies, 40 gold and 30 stone. Because I only see 1 guy mining out of 70 people, we kinda need more people doing it
