TOPIC: [SSRP] Suggestion - Nerfing The Gluon.

Suggestion Title: Heavy Gluon Nerf

How would it benefit the server: You nerf the Gluon and then so many cool and interesting weapons would be used. It would give a major meta shift that is long long overdue and would breath new life into the server

Potential Issues/Exploits: People cry instead of looking at how much good this could add

Additional notes: I would seriously like this to be considered and debated. For years now I have stated that the existence of the gluon gun ruins the server. How many new items have been added and instantly dismissed because of the gluon gun. I spoke about how every single update a new suit gets added the first thing is "how does this compete against a gluon". Most of the time poorly. Anything cool or interesting is instantly overshadowed by a single weapon, og suits remain meta simply because of the gluon gun. On a rough count over 85 unique different suits and weapons that are instantly outclassed by the gluon gun and suits basic abilities but gluon resistance. Why? What is the point in adding new things when in comparison they are useless, a single weapon renders sometimes whole case useless, why waste the time, effort and money (both for players and devs/lt) thinking of new ideas that are underappreciated the millisecond a player compares it to the gluon. This one change would completely shake up the server and allows people to enter a fight with a new suit or weapon combo, it allows options. Of course should this turn out terribly a revert could always be done, it would be an easier enough thing to trial run.

Oh and for those who say about "WeLl YoU hAvE tO nUkE fOr It". There's so many in the economy this argument is silly. On top of that MAYBE just maybe people will try to go for the better nuke tiers instead of doing a nuke, crafting the gluon and thats that. So this change would also improve nuking options.

Could just increase gluon resistance for some suits to stop gluon being used for ever fight, when jet suit had crazy health and gluon resistance mini2 and dmg was meta to fight them. If they gave a few suits more gluon resistance other weapons could be more useful in particular situations - adding a bit more depth to fights.

That was the last time we saw a meta switch up and it was a nice change. The only other meta was the visor suit, hold beam and the second you run out unequip regardless which again is a boring meta. I do agree that a heavy buff to gluon resistance could make a difference

What I will say is, on my original point, PD raids used to be so fun and go on for AGESSSS back and forth and then they would eventually get ruined by someone with a gluon and that kind of just killed everyone's vibe and they stopped.

I think we should make ice minions stronger too then and honestly why should we even fix the trip mine hitboxes just put them at a slant tbh. After this tho, lets remove the nuking feature, the gluon is nerfed so there's no point in the last form of real PVP, so honestly just make it a 30 player min player count, half the damage, and nerf the ammo again

ok if people are for real about nerfing the gluon and actually weighing out the differences between a lightning gun meta and gluon gun meta, then there honestly should be another May 5th 1789, people from all around the globe that play zarp would love to see the un nerfed guillotine put back into the meta
