First things first prop hunt meeting hasn't happened for a long time so I will force yall to make one.

It's sad to see Prop Hunt lose the attention of the player base and lack innovation or updates to refresh the gameplay dynamic. So the best thing to do for Prophunt and the players is to make changes to Prophunt to keep it fun, or at least keep Prophunt from being dead. Also, there are a lot of Prophunt servers on Garry's Mod, so of course there will be competition, so we should make something that stands out from the other servers.

The thing about the prop is that when you hide, you have two choices: stay hidden or run away, which is very repetitive and boring, you can play taunt or run away from the hunters and risk being killed by the grenade launcher. Another thing you can do is stay hidden and not taunt and what comes out of that is the hunters and the dead people getting very bored of it and eventually leaving the server.

There are two ways to add powers: either every round, a power would spawn somewhere on the map, forcing the prop players to move from their spots and search for it, or every round, some props would get powers and some props wouldn't like in Among us.
By powers, I mean that each prop would be able to use a certain sort of power on either the hunters or themselves. Prop hunt gameplay would become less repetitive and more enjoyable, resulting in a variety of compilations of amazing gameplay for both new players and veteran gamers.

This is definitely comparable to power rounds, however, power rounds include a voting requirement, and a single power, only benefits or making it more challenging to play for the hunters side or the prop team. Some people forget to vote. Some people don't know how to vote. Voting can be difficult since some individuals want power and others don't.

The concepts of power there are many, however, to help you understand what I mean, I can mention a few of them.
Teleportation: When the prop gets caught he could use this power to teleport itself to another prop or even different location making it an escape plan from the hunter.
Shape-shifting: Prop could change their appearance to another hunter for a certain time, allowing them to move freely from the spot and find a different spot.
Super Jump: Prop can jump very high, giving him the ability to access high hiding spots or even escape hunters more easily.
Invisibility: Prop can become invisible for a short duration, making it extremely challenging for hunters to locate him.
Clone: Prop can create temporary decoys of themselves to confuse hunters and if the decoy gets shot it disappears entirely. The best number for the prop to create active decoys would be 3.
Telekinesis: Prop can move nearby objects to confuse the hunters making them shotting the prop or even killing them.
Mimicry: Prop can mimic taunt heard in different location, leading hunter away or distracting them.
Echo Location: Prop can emit pulses of sound to detect nearby hunters or reveal their locations through walls or obstacles.
Regeneration: Prop can regenerate health one time only, allowing them to withstand more damage from hunters or survive longer engagements.
Transformation: Prop can transform another hunter into a chicken making him completely useless and he cannot control the chicken for a certain time.
Rigged: If this prop gets killed, it will kill the hunter who killed him or set off an explosion that will harm nearby hunters.
Strategic: This prop will be equipped with smoke grenades and flashbangs. To help him get out of some situations and even assist other props.
Haunter: There would a chance that one of the killed props would get this power. With this power you will respawned as a ghost that nobody sees you but still dead, you will be able to walk arround and haunt certain hunters making the hunter slitghly move his mouse to miss his shots or slightly walk to different direction. (This would also notify the hunter that he's getting possesed).
Object Fusion: This prop would immediately spawn in one of the props or objects. It will only move through the map by merging with the prop or object. This means that if it is in the prop and wants to move, it has to press on one of the objects and will immediately merge with it. The downside of this prop is that he has a glittering aura when he is in the prop, and when the "EMP Pulse" is used near him, the prop merges out as a normal prop (default skin), revealing his location or if the "Demolisher" removes the object that he's inside of, causing him to die. To kill him, simply shoot him or the object that causes the glittering aura.
Communication Troubler: This prop would have the ability to disrupt and disable communications among hunters for a certain amount of time.

For Hunters:
Radar Scan: Allows the hunter to send out a pulse that reveals the location of props within a certain radius on the map for a very short time.
Trap Deployment: This enables the hunter to deploy traps such as mines or lasers on the walls, which can immobilize or reveal nearby props when triggered.
Disguise Detection: Grants the ability to hear a sound if you are near the prop.
Speed Boost: Temporarily increases the hunter's movement speed, making it easier to chase down props.
Bubble Trap: Creates a temporary bubble that traps props inside, preventing them from escaping.
EMP Pulse: Emits a pulse that temporarily disables props from using a power.
Hunter's Mark: Marks a running prop, making it more vulnerable to detection and easier to capture for a limited time.
Shape Shifter: Temporarily transforms the hunter into a prop, allowing them to blend in and surprise unsuspecting props.
Resurrector: If the hunter dies with this power, he can respawn again during the same round. Giving him a second chance.
Time Control: This hunter will be able to extend the timer by 10 seconds once, which will give him and the other hunters a little extra time to locate the props.
Indestructible: For a short amount of time, this hunter is going to have the ability to become immortal, which will allow him to shoot props without taking any damage and immune to powers.
Supporter: The task of this hunter would be to help other hunters, possibly to heal them or to wash away active powers of the hunter.
Demolisher: This hunter will have the ability to remove certain objects few time only from the map revealing whats lurking behind it.
Gun Mastery: This hunter will spawn with only one weapon with unlimited ammo.
Eagle Eye: This hunter will the ability to change his vision uncovering for him footsteps or the aroma that the props left behind.
The Last Judgment: Sacrifice yourself for the opportunity to reveal every prop's location on the map for a brief period of time.
Cameraman: This hunter will have the ability to install and monitor cameras in different locations on the map. If there are any moving objects, the camera will report them (for example, "Movement caught on camera #1!" will be sent to the player's chatbox) and it will cause the camera to make beeping sounds to notify nearby players. The hunter will then be able to determine where the props are located.

Custom powers:
Guardian and The Ward: The ward being as the prop, while the guardian is the hunter. These two will cooperate, the hunter's role is to ensure the ward's survival, the guardian's ability is to ping certain areas to warn of dangers or places to hide, and the ward's ability to stun hunters three times in total. The ward's only disadvantage is that it will alert the hunters that the Guardian and The Ward exists by making ticking sounds when the timer reaches 00:45 seconds. If the ward is killed, the guardian will die along with the ward and the hunter who killed it will be awarded by diamonds. In the situation that The Ward is the remaining prop, the round will end immediately, granting "Guardian's Victory" and both of them will be awarded by diamonds.
Vengeance: A prop known as "Vengeance" will spawn and notify him that he's been chosen if hunters win five or more rounds in a row. However, the prop must be alive for 30 seconds in order for its effects to start. The effects would be that he would spawn as a boss named "Vengeance" at a random place on the map, with massive health and weapons. His role would be simple, to kill the hunters. The hunters will able to see him through walls and would always know where he is. If the hunters were to kill him, they would receive a skin pack or diamonds and the round would continue as normal, and if the Vengeance survived, he would receive gifts.
Who is this guy?: A high level player or a VIP player will be able to spawn as this person. He won't have any weapons or health; his only job will be to watch and troll everyone. Having the ability to carry signs that he can customize with texts or images and to point with his finger at locations to reveal the position of props or to troll hunters. :D

Many more ideas exist for powers
And certainly this would enhance the game's enjoyment, but it may also lead to a lot of problems or exploits. And please share what you think about this idea.

Those are some awesome ideas imo and giving specific examples like so is exactly how a suggestion of this nature should look like.

Now for a sum of mechanisms that will make sense and work well together and keep a balance, it would mean a lot of work and many optimizations along the way, which is feasable, but very time-consuming.

Implementing something like this would mean a core change of prophunt which isn’t a light project as i mentioned so i can’t personally make any promises out of the bat as the server itself doesn’t have a dedicated Server Owner at the moment to be able to take on this as a sole project, however, as the most recent main contributor i can assure you i will put effort into this, but results can’t be promised for any time soon.

I won’t be locking this for the time being as it’d be nice to see this idea blossom from any valuable replies.
