Event Expansion
How would it benefit the server:
I am just going to list some changes that I believe would make events more enjoyable
Potential Issues/Exploits:
the work wont be worth the result
Additional notes:
Just filling out the template below will be the body of this idea

Here is a list of event change ideas. I may reformat this in the near future.
Add a subtype to events
For players to select a specific ruleset or conditions for a given event.
Ideally this would allow more game mode variations to be added
This will add on to ideas below
Example: Falling tiles would gain a "Stunstick" subtype as this is currently in the map selection

Add loadout based events
Idea here is on these events the player would be presented with a GUI on start of game and optionally on dieing to choose a different class.
Maybe some loadouts include temporary boosts (perks)
Two potential variants (subtypes) could be:
  • Suited: Each loadout is a differnet suit with different weapons on each. I can elaborate more on this another time but for a possible example what about jugg and mini1 or agility and milkor
  • Classic Sniper + glock, AR + pistol, shotgun + deagle, smg + smg, heavy machine gun
  • Arena no loadouts spawned weapons only

Add a third (large) arena
Here is where team events could potentially happen + allow for greater creativity on map creation

I like what he has here

1v1 events
would be duals on a small map, if more then 2 players joined they would all be placed into arenas but upon death would cycle players, think CSGO warmups. the player with the most points wins

More maps
With a larger arena we could see more detailed maps.
Id be happy to help create these if I can get more information on how to submit one.
I would like to see segments of the current map recreated via props + segments of historical maps + COD maps (nuketown and rust)

Modify movespeed to be what it is currently in SSRP for PVP events
Players move to fast in the arena and it would be more fun (IMO) if the movespeed was the same, would be better practice for PVP

Add a "For Keeps" subtype
Would be a deathmatch subtype where players can equip weapons and suits they own but would lose them in the arena. Only could be started by players and would have a high dollar amount to start. This would be for players to invite others to a big challenge, a player that is trying to farm RIPs would start one with a big prize to bait others to join.

Add in death match, team death match and team KOTH gametypes
I thought it was implied based on the loadout suggestions but I wanted to include in case it wasnt inferred. Team gametypes would disallow an item for prize unless started by server, the cash prize would be split

I believe all of these could help out and make it fun for players if it’s done correctly. Way to go man!

I worked on some maps like a year and a half ago when I received a sanction as a Super Administrator, I've made a crap ton of event maps and forwarded them to Chute (I think), they were supposed to be implemented but I don't know what had happened.

I still have said maps on my hard drive.
