Server Name: Police Roleplay

Suggestion Title: Police Roleplay

How would it benefit the server: I will go in to more detail down below. Everyone wants to play in a server that will follow Roleplay and I believe this is the one.

Potential Issues/Exploits: More work however Xnator and Martin can handle it.

*Why Police Roleplay?
Now all of those who are gone or still here can all agree to one thing, Although SSRP is Semi Serious, I believe some of us would like something more serious and where people actually will follow the Roleplay scenarios and it’ll be fun.

*Addons?

GSpeak: G Speak is a lovely little add on that brings Teamspeak in to Garrys Mod and it’ll make our Teamspeak Server popular instead of just having LT members. What GSpeak does, it connects people who are near you so
You can hear what they’re saying without ruining the situation of hearing everyone and it will look really amazing and sleek. For talk sake, If you decide to become a Police Constable, You could be using this to speak on the radio to the fellow dispatcher.

Weapons?
Now nobody wants to see shitty M9K so maybe Xnator or Martin or even any other developer can think of something however Fa:2 would look really nice if I do say myself.

Jobs?
Now, I imagine this server to be really nice and sleek and professional made ALONGSIDE SSRP stuff. However I’d appreciate it if we took this slow and listened to the community on suggestions and what not, now let’s get back to the jobs.

I imagine, having roughly about 8 jobs however promotion is always available if you’re good at your job.

Emergency Workers
Police:
Police are the soul of the server; Where if you join the Police Force, You will need to learn multiple codes and proceed to driver training as well as go on a ride along. You can progress through the ranks ranging from *Example*
PCSO,
PC,
SGT,
Inspector,
Chief Inspector,
Superintendent.

*Once you reach the rank of Sergeant and you feel like branching out, You can become Under Cover.

*Once you reach Inspector, You can receive training for Armed Force.

“PCSO”
You would roughly be this rank for 3 days (in game days, roughly 2 hours?) In this rank you would learn Police calls raging from 10-4 all the way to a 10-3 and a 10-7. Once you’ve shown yourself then you shall receive a promotion.

NHS Staff:
Junior Paramedic,
Paramedic,
Technission,
Doctor,
Surgeon,


OFCOURSE the higher you are in the said branch unlocks more realistic stuff such as better vehicles and more power, such as being able to drive better vehicles or dealing with hostage situations.

Criminals
East Side Gang:
Street Dealer,
Drug Dealer,
Gangster
Hitman
Boss
West Side Gang: *same as above*

Civilian
Taxi Driver
Receptionist
DVLA Trainer

Please bare in mind these jobs are just out the top of my head, if anyone else feels the need to add more or such then please just write down below.

Map?*
This is where Mix3rz and the lovely spirit EMP & Patric will come in, fingers crossed they look at RockfordV2 and branch out of that and add multiple districts to make it look sleek and professional.

*Staff?
I am in no way shape or forum incharge of this, so whoever the CM puts in charge then please make this a good one. Fingers crossed Onion as he does listen to suggestions and would be a pretty decent owner.



*Why should I vote yes? Just sit back with your G-Fuel and think about playing on a server that is like SSRP but lot more serious in Roleplay and it’ll be fun.

Please listen to others on this, I know that you all are busy with updates and stuff however like I said above, we could take our time and make sure this is perfect.

What rules will it be based off?
Well, consideration majority of us are from UK we should base it off from UK laws, such as driving on the left of the road and having to pass your driving test before driving and need to have insurance and such.

*I will try to make this as most realistic as I possibly can such as drugs and police stuff.

A serious RP server just would not work for ZARP, ontop of that I think they should be putting more focusing into
retaining players for SSRP, Deathrun etc. and not creating more servers to spread out the already small player count...

Players left because of the suits and the fact it was boring at the peroid of no updates.

As for Deathrun, I believe in my own opinion players left as it began to get boring and the Desthrun Mode itself, started to die out.

In my prospective, we need a server that will bring in a wider audience in hope that they’ll find out other servers to play.

i would be happy to be a developer for this. i have stated in my zombie survival post that i had a few ideas and this is one of them

Thank you Hazz, Although it is a lot of work for the CM team to discuss however I stand by this suggestion that it’ll bring back new as well as old players as currently Police Roleplay is booming

sorry this isn't the community for SRP, the players only know how to buy boosters and use their overpowered suits and multiple alt accounts

Nah won't work. Anything that requires anything outside of shoot everything and any form of roleplay is a no go. It will never work due to the type of people that play ssrp. Nothing on ssrp is roleplay based its simply do what you want within the rules.

Why use gspeak when the voice codec was updated in gmod?

also ZARP will never have actual roleplayers, therefore this will not work.. nice effort into the suggestion though

Zarp needs a fresh roleplay server. But i doubt they will do anything about that.
