TOPIC: [SSRP Suggestion] Economy Fix

Server Name: SSRP

Suggestion Title: Fixing the Zarp economy by dividing everyone's money by 100 alongside rare item store however keeping all printers and other things the same.

How would it benefit the server: It will make the server more desirable to new players as they will be able to earn up to rare items faster and they will stand a chance against the veteran players on the server.

Potential Issues/Exploits: People complaining however due to this not being a total money wipe the rich players will remain rich. It simply means earning money will be more rewarding and the server will be less off putting due to the inflated economy to new players.

Additional notes: This will help the server, a new player that joins and makes a few hundred thousand per hour will see people with the gjug and find out its price of 80 billion and instantly be put off the server due to the mass amounts of money needed to get that item. However if this happened a price of a possible 1-2bil is much more reasonable.

it will never get accepted mainly because of what happened to FP

+ you won't ever know what the owners/the people responsible think of resetting the economy. which makes it so hard to understand why they keep letting everyone fucking up the economy.

even if they just let us know what they are planning to do about the fucked state of the economy of ssrp it would give us a slight bit of hope that ssrp will be playable again, but i think this ship has sailed a long time ago.

Dividing by 100 means people will still be as rich in comparison to everyone else, makes no difference other than giving new players more money relatively.

Yeah I see what you mean, even if it's just a number squish it would be appealing as it wouldn't feel so ridiculous for new players.

Maybe do what they did with pointshop and if You have over a certain amount of money then it caps it at something like 1b?

I think the only solution for such an issue would be a drastic increase in money sinks, whatever they might be, just to get rid of money effectively and fast.

another possible issue would be everyone would just buy lots of suits and good guns before the reset so it will be even harder for new players to earn money because people would nuke a lot more and raiding a player who played for a little bit before the reset would be impossible unless they were afk.

and in response to maddox i don't believe this should be announced, it should just happen one day and that should be it as it will stop the issues you are mentioning

I very much so doubt they will ever be able to reset the economy because of booster packs, my thought for it was for them to make a server which resets the timeline of zarp you could think of it as, people can claim their boosters again at any time on the server and all of the cases that exist on the current ssrp server are added again to the new server in the order they were added, its just a strange idea that I had which was almost instantly shut down though and it is probably a dumb idea. What is done is up to the CM team though at the end of the day.

the main reason behind the whole economy is fucked is because of all the alt accounts being used. Some people have like 20 at once and it's mad. I admit I have one but I dont use 100's.

Dividing everyone’s money? You believe this is the answer? Wow. How about we figure out a way for us to spend our money on things players need, affordable suits and gluons not a jugg suit priced at 1b in the casino. We need a fair and understandable way to utilize the money or else it will go nowhere except back into the hands of the rich.
