I completely agree with this.

The knife can be so inconsistent and it can really ruin a traitor's plan (thanks for the inconsistency JimJam) and if a witness sees it because of the inconsistency and has a DNA scanner, it just ruins a traitor's plan when they leave just because of a small lapse in the actual stab effect in the back and then shooting starts immediately onto the traitor.

Having no DNA on a backstab would really help sneaky traitors as a knife is smaller than the harpoon yet has more inconsistency on a backstab. _{_{(I have no idea how I phrased this.)}}

Yeah no shit it’s on me which is why I’m asking for it to be changed believe it or not, so tell me why the harpoon doesn’t have DNA when killing someone with it? Makes no logical sense seeming you can one hit with it whereas it’s a risk with the knife hence why it needs to be looked into more so backstabbing leaves no trace of DNA.

The knife as many others have said at this point is out classed and completely not meta in anyway. Personally although I don't think this change does much it's actually servers the point of having a stealth encouraging weapon. I find the argument of using decoy to be quite bad because if the point is to kill using stealth why do I need to use further credits to hide DNA. On top of that hiding bodies in a small map without getting caught is nearly impossible so I don't see how that's a valid reason to not add it. The only real thing that I want to know is if this is truly worth the time it will take to implement as I don't see the knife being used often. But overall it's not a bad suggestion just does not seem all that needed to me.
