Suggestion Title:
Changing the Gluon Gun

How would it benefit the server:
It would make raiding / defending a lot more enjoyable and change how people conduct raids (just running in with a gluon and mummy without a care in the world).

Potential Issues/Exploits:
A very controversial change for certain gangs seeing as this has been how the gluon has been for over a year.

Additional notes:
Originally I thought of making it prop orientated but clarkys suggestion is a lot better. (It is below)

Gluon does 150 dmg per ammo (when I survived a gluon beam, I was left at 50hp with an EDF on), this should be significantly reduced on only players without special suits equipped like it drains their health down instead of practically instant kill. Suits should still suffer from high amounts of damage, which you could call it a 'malfunction' as the Gluon Gun is described to be highly experimental.

The gluongun used to do so much more damage to props, guess what people did with it. Used it to wipe out new players bases. The whole point in the gluon is a weapon that is capable to kill suits. How do you expect anyone will be able to fight against suits with normal weapons. This is possibly one of the worst suggestions I have read this year.

That even better than what I had in mind can I just change my suggestion to this.

I have to agree somewhat with what Clarky has said

The gluon is obviously a very powerful special weapon but really is only effective on suits, it's complete overkill on regular players and obviously gives its owner a huge advantage over them.

In my perfect world, the gluon would become a anti-suit weapon, rather than anti-everything

just a bit confused with where your reply is coming from seeing as clarky doesn't mention damage to props.

It's easy to counter if you don't do any mistakes, the gluon is completely fine in my opinion

let's be honest, who doesnt own a suit today on Zarp lol
If you are raiding or defending you MUST have a suit, and if you take it off, well don't stay in the middle of the fight, retreat, wait 30 secs and get back on da grind :blush:

For those without suits how are they supposed to make money, they will be raided by people in suits so the only viable way for newer players is to start by afk mining which isn't enjoyable.
