Suggestion Title:
Make the G3 automatic.

How would it benefit the server:
Make gunfights more balanced and give the weapon some use.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
Overuse.

Additional notes:
I will now list my reasoning of why we should turn this piece of German engineering into it’s realistic self. Partly
1. It would make gunfights balanced. This weapon is extremely underused because of it’s low firerate and ammo count and that it requires actual aiming. If we made it auto, people would start actually using it as it would now be a great choice for medium range combat.
2. The weapon is SUPPOSED to be automatic in the first place. In fact, it is also supposed to have not 15, but 20 rounds per mag, however this decrease in ammo could be easily countered if the weapon became automatic, since it does a whopping 40 damage per bodyshot.
3. It would make the weapon popular. Yes, I already said that it’s underused, but did I mention Tec-9 and Jackspammers? Everyone hates these two because of how hard it is to acquire them and how overpowered they are. If the G3 was auto, it would actually easily counter both of them, resulting in happier players. And since it isn’t that much of a grind to get the G3, everyone could have access to it.
That’s about all I have to say, personally I really like the gun both IRL and in-game, it’s just that the fire rate results in your death as you will immediately die before you can hit 2-3 shots with it to kill someone. Some balancing may be required though, maybe lowering the damage a little. Then again tec-9 with 36 per hit being a secondary is questionable.
Perhaps you could even add a scope to the weapon and let it be semi. It would be great if we had more than 3 scoped weapons in game! And since aiming down sights with it is useless, it could potentially increase it’s use. Everyone loves autosnipers, right?

Actually. It has a low fire rate and a high damage rate. You literally just have to hit your shots, as Mia said.

You have to hit your shots withevery weapon. It’s just that almost all weapons let you spray and pray. h is why the G3 should be given that ability as well or just be yeeted and replaced.

Even without headshots its still really good. Its a 2 shot to if one is a headshot and 3 shots if all body. Headshots don't make that big of an impact.

Making it automatic won't make it any better, if anything I find with slow fire rate weapons its a lot easier to hit shots if it doesn't full auto. To make it the way you would also have to up the fire rate and then lower damage cus it would be op. Then you are left with just another boring auto weapon.

You can't just say tec and jackhammer will outgun a g3 because its not true. G3 requires you to play around the strengths of the weapon in the same way the other 2 do. If I'm rushing people with a g3 a tec will and should win almost everytime but if I play around the g3 being a mid to long range weapon it will beat the tec as long as you can actually aim.

What you’re saying about strengths of weapons would be true if they weren’t simply spammed. No one uses the G3 because you will die quicker than you can kill others EVEN if you have the range. Tec-9 has a very good spray ability, I’ve hit shots that I shouldn’t have multiple times from very long ranges, and the jackhammer is a shotgun with a lot of pellets that still do considerable damage. This is coming out of a user of the g3, you get me? This happens to me all the time, I shoot someone from far away, they start moving and it becomes impossible to hit them because the accuracy isn’t even perfect, after what they start spraying their random AR and hit me multiple times. The G3 should either not exist as it isn’t good enough for a small and fast-paced mode like TTT or should be turned into an AR.

imo the G3 is actually quite strong because of the high damage, it just requires good aim to be used effectively, when i was at that level and using the g3 i remember it actually being really good I think if it was to be made full auto the damage would definitely need to be reduced, but i’m sure it’s just fine how it is now	eddie. And making the g3 full auto fixes that how? The g3 is in a good spot, it just requires slightly more skill than the other weapons. The issue is not with the g3 but with the tec and jackhammer. Even if the tec can occasionally hit from some questionable range it cannot do it consistently and with the jackhammer while yes its damage can still be decent even at long range it will still not beat the g3 if you can actually hit your shots.

If you want something to change you should either buff some of the pick up automatic weapons which all got yeeted out of the meta by the meta by the balance update or tone down the tec and jackhammer. Imo the recoil buff house gave the tec should be reverted and its mag reduced to 8 making it less consistent and less forgiving if you miss some shots meaning it will likely only be able to be used at shorter ranges as it was intended to be. As for the jackhammer its been up and down in balance, because of how the jackhammer is any changes to damage or fire rate make it op or garbage do I think the only thing yo target would be the ammo.

Bezzy made it semi automatic because I told Bezzy that the server needed a weapon that had semi high damage with semi high fire rate that was semi automatic. And it was one of the only good changes that occured because of Bezzy (Bezzy's gun balance is still in progress he never got to finish it)

You probably do not remember but fully automatic G3 was the least used weapon in the game because it was completely useless. Had shit damage, shit accuracy and shit fire rate

The fact the weapon is fitted for certain situations instead of being jack of all trades does not make the weapon bad its exactly how it should be
