Lets be honest this most likely affects all pointshop server rather th a just TTT but I havent been on them so I would not know.
So whats the problem with xgames? Everything. I figure it's purpouse was to get users to spend the Pointshop points and thus lower the ammount of points circulating. It did exactly opposite with its broken minigames that literally lets you safely multiply your own tokens till you are a millionaire. We are talking about the whole economy being ruined with the use of xgames. I am not even talking about exploitting it's using the game system as it was intended to be used because no one cared enough to do the math. Since there is no exploutative nature to this issue I figure it's fine that I openly tell you how to multiply the points Step 1. [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Get some tokens. Really any number above 10 will do. I would personally start with 80 though Step 2. [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Choose the Multiply minigame Just open the game and enter your bet. I would start with gambling 1/8th of your points as a safe bet since there is the 33% chance of not profiting from your bet. Ste 3. [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Repetition is the key to success For you to profit you need to repeat step 2 many times. The bigger your starting sum the easier this step is. Steadily increase your bet as you make your way to riches. Step 4. [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Collecting your winnings As the maximum bet you can make on the minigame is 100k you can safely start spinning the xgames wheel when you hit 800k tokens and continuously spin it and spin it to receive rare(ish) skins and pointshop points. Why does this work? [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Bad math. From my experience with the multiply every odd is as common as the others. There are 26-31 possible outcomes (The game description reads 2.5 is the highest multiplier but I have gotten 3 highest so doubt that) 11 lowest possible outcomes are 0 , 0.1, 0.2... ....0.7, 0.8 , 0.9 , 1 These are the negative outcomes. The negative outcomes will land you in either negative or will grant you nothing. Lets remove the 1 multiplier just because its basically roll again instead of a reward. This would mean that 10 out of 30 as likely outcomes will land you negative. Thats 33% Next 10 outcomes I will call the neutralizers They are: 1.1 , 1.2 , 1.3.... 1.8 , 1.9 , 2.0 They are exactly same as the 10 first ones but with a multiplier of 1 added to it so you will always profit on them. 1.1 and 0.9 rolls will neutralize each other and give you your moneys back without profits Same with 0.2 & 1.8 , 0.3 & 1.7 , 0.4 & 1.6 , 0.5 & 1.5 etc These sre likely to get as the negative outcomes meaning that 66% of the rolls will land you on +/- 0. Hence why I call these the neutralizers Then the last sum of the multipliers the xfactors (I tried to pun, sorry) These multipliers that are confirmed to be from 2.1 to 2.5 will land you on net positive meaning you will be getting profits from all these spins So lets simulate 25 spins with multipliers 0-25: You have 500 tickets and use 20 as a bet Rolls [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] x0 = 0 x0.1 = 2 x0.2 = 4 x0.3 = 6 x0.4 = 8 x0.5 = 10 x0.6 = 12 x0.7 = 14 x0.8 = 16 x0.9 = 18 x1 = 20 x1.1 = 22 x1.2 = 24 x1.3 = 26 x1.4 = 28 x1.5 = 30 x1.6 = 32 x1.7 = 34 x1.8 = 36 x1.9 = 38 x2 = 40 This is +/-0 last 5 rolls would be x2.1 = 42 x2.2 = 44 x2.3 = 46 x2.4 = 48 x2.5 = 50 Result: 650 tokens out of 25 spins And as I said the multipliers do actually go up to 3 but even with 2.5multiplier trial the outcome will give you a 750% profit on the bet on 25 rolls. This trial was even done with smaller bets than suggested as it was 4% of the token pool player had in use instead of my suggested 12.5% more unneeded math [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Had the player been using my suggested ammount of tokens (62 rounded down) he would have ended up with: 1213 tokens (over doubling his initial investment) with 25 rolls and 2.5 highest multiplier -OR- 2081 with 30 rolls and 3 highest multiplier (as it actually is) this means with 30 rolls he got 4 times the initial investment as outcome. This isnt gamble its profiting If anyone doubts this math start asking why TTT has people who are completely new to community with 100mil points and how I got from 100 tokens to 2.4 million whilst testing this out. Not only is the person behind xgames unable to do simple math he is also illiterate as seen in the screenshot below. Complaining baout spelling mistakes is petty but this literalmy cost me 390k pointshop points that I will probably never be seeing again I don't know how on earth this got approved in the first place. Maybe there are no quality standards anymore and we just accept everything that is "new content." I tried confronting the community developer about this issue over a week ago and he is just straight up ignored me. I went to TTT SO and asked if he was aware of the issues with Xgames and he said he was and there was nothing he could do. Then I went asking from staff and they knew as well. A broken system and server owner is unable to act on it (I assume this is because its above him) this should be top priority as this actively ruins the pointshop economy that you tried to restore. Thanks for your time see you on the next complaint |

I was made aware of this a while back. I expected this to be some form of exploit until I realized there was no exploit and it was just poor game design. I think we can retain the diverse multipliers, but TheXnator should instead define the chances for each multiplier manually, instead of having all the chances equally distributed, (3.33%) each. The chances of getting anything <=1 should be slightly higher than the base percentage of each number in (>=1.1 X >= 1.9), so <=1 =+ <=1 + x. Then, >=2 =+ >=2 - x as a result of <=1 =+ <=1 + x.
I guess to explain this in a simpler way I'll put it like this: This ensures that there is a better distribution between all the numbers. While the chance of getting something below or equal to 1 is higher, you still retain a smaller possibility of getting higher than or equal to 2, in addition to all the numbers from 1.1 to 1.8. This is a rough idea but hopefully, you get what I'm going for and are willing to try it out. I believe we should test this fairly extensively before going ahead and adding it to the live servers to avoid the mistake that is mention in the original post. |

If they won't remove X Games, they at least have to fix the specific gamemode which is causing the issue. The pointshop economy is out of control due to it, as people are really taking advantage of the amazing odds the multiplier gives you.

I personally would prefer fixing it which is why I told what is wrong in such a detail |
