Server Name: Trouble In Terrorist Town

Suggestion Title: Defibrillator brings back players with 50% health

How would it benefit the server: It would still allow for the revival of players, but with a downside for the player that had died prior to being defibrillated. Stops Traitors having the ability to just rushing and dying just to get brought back as if nothing happened and forces a more tactical approach for the use of the item.

Potential Issues/Exploits: People being upset.

Additional notes: Pfft nah.

I think this would be a nice change to balance the defib a little, but 75 health would probably be better to go with, or a random value between 50 - 75 or 50 - 100 health

What about a calculation that factors in the number of times they were shot before they died?

Shot more = less health on defib?

I feel as though this would be a good change to the weapon, granting it a more tactical approach as you pointed out.

I fail to see how the defib is unbalanced as it already has the major downside of revealing that you're a T on the scoreboard and in addition to that you loose your T shop credits and your weapons as well.

I don't think that this would balance the defib and would rather nerf it to a point where people won't use it anymore.

I think its fine how it is.

Also this should be considered a terrible idea since spawning at 50 HP with 0 credits is quite terrific tbh. You can't buy yourself armour or anything. Plus it shows that you're a T on the scoreboard.

This wouldn't be a really good thing. The defib right now is very good and balanced. A player is revived so they should have the right amount of health. 100%

The downside of it revealing you as a traitor is completely irrelevent as long as the person using the defib is not a total idiot and has the patience to wait. If used early into a round then yes it sucks because everyone is hunting you and there are a lot of innocents, but if used late into the round having traitors be defibed at 100hp can almost always secure a traitor win. Even if you know exactly who the traitors that got rezed are good luck fighting multiple multiple rezes traitors at full health while you most likely are weak because its late into the round and there are few remaining innocents.

As for credits and weapons they are everywhere and not hard to come by, with how many traitors and detectives there are on a server with 47 people there are always credits to be found or gifted to the rezed traitor. As an innocent playing a round against like 7 traitors and then seeing 2/3 of them being rezed towards the end of the round is just annoying because even knowing they are traitors you still cant fight them. If you die as a traitor you should be punished, getting rezed at full hp is too forgiving.

when you get defibbed you are exposed as a traitor to everyone on the server so it’s already balanced enough without losing half your health

Changing the dfib in this way would make it hard for the player getting revived. He had no credits for body armour and is a massive target on the scoreboard. He will get hunted down and he'll have a even smaller chance to survive..
