Wouldn’t t be better to just have more open communication between high-ranking staff and users? Feels as if this would become one of those things that ultimately never works and changes nothing.
That would be good but even members of the Lead Team don't necessarily know what the 'next big thing' is that the CM team are looking to do.
The reason I'm a fan of this suggestion is because it creates an opportunity for staff and a select group of users to sit down and talk about things in the community. It gives users, regular staff, lead team and even the Community Team themselves a chance to voice their opinions/concerns directly to this committee of people in a meeting or discussion in TS.
We need to find ways to - at the very least - talk about things that are going well, wrong or aren't going at all in the community without having to rely on DEAD/Chute for everything. Clarky is trying his hardest at the moment but he needs help. With a committee like this, we can increase the level of communication between the right people and from there, it can spread things further as necessary.
Our goal obviously wouldn't be to spread rumors or misinformation but maybe users had a concern about the lack of responses to suggestions on the forums, the way rule(s) are enforced on a certain server, the lack of replies to support emails or whatever the case may be, it will be a chance for us who, might not be fully clued in on the issue, to get up to speed and work with each other to find the best possible solution.
