Suggestion Title: Two Factor Authentication

How would it benefit the server: more security, prevent incidents happening like what just happened to me

Potential Issues/Exploits: N/A

Additional notes: So, somehow, my account just got hacked. I use a very random and unique password that for 1: isn’t english, 2: has a very long random number sequence at the end, 3: I have never given this password out to literally anyone. With that, I’m certain that my password would have been impossible for anyone to guess, and I’m still clueless as to how someone managed to get into my account.

Adding two factor authentication would make it impossible for things like this to happen again, and overall make the forums much more secure.

i remember when i randomly got access to nutzus account and another time when i randomly got access to an account which stole my name, never had to log in or anything + it always happened just after i stopped using the name of the account i got access to, shits weird, pretty sure it was patched tho

It was a really random word, in a different language, followed by a sequence of really random numbers, it couldn’t be any harder to guess

Also, move to server issues/suggestions pls

don't visit dodgy websites or download dodgy software including cracked software ezclap. you've probably succumbed to a keylogger or some shit

Edit - also I never type my password in, it’s saved and just autofills every time meaning a keylogger is probably not the cause

Alright, I found out exactly what happened, and ngl it’s pretty damn embarrassing.

Not gonna reveal but just know, it’s sorted know and was nothing malicious

As for the two factor auth I’ll have to speak to Chute about doing an feature update for the site. Currently only the back end of the website is protected with two factor auth, but a newer version adds two factor auth into the front end as well.
