TOPIC: [Suggestion] Put EU in the titles

Server Name: Its towards all the servers that don't have EU/UK in the name

Suggestion Title: The servers that are hosted from the EU/UK should have it somewhere in the servers name.

How would it benefit the server: It would let others know that the server is in the EU/UK.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Others who join the server might not know its EU/UK and have connection problems and not know why for the longest time. (I.E me)

Additional notes: The template doesn't exactly work for how I'm addressing this, but I still tried on tht part. For the rest of it, the whole matter is just common sense... most of the EU/UK servers I've come across in the server list have EU/UK or something in their titles of the server itself. At least maybe put it in the MOTD or just make it known somehow. For the entire time I've been playing on the TTT server, I believed it was a US server. Only like a month or so ago from now is when it started to become a problem for me. I've been having 120 or higher ping constantly and would get lag spikes. Some days it wasn't as bad but most of the time its annoying to deal with. Knowing now its EU/UK, I'm probably not going to be playing on it anymore mainly because I'm in Canada and the ping is very annoying to deal with, unless there rlly is no other server to join. But srsly u guys should put EU/UK or something in the titles of ur servers that are based in those places, cause rn tbh to me it seems a bit misleading that u guys r not making that part known..

It’s really not necessary though, surely you can tell by your ping if it is near your country ?

it still helps regardless, like is it rlly that hard to put 2 extra letters in the server titles that are EU/UK based? If anything, it could attract more EU/UK based players. To them they'll see the letters in the name and know it is a EU/UK based server.

Im from Canada and I can assure you I've never had consistent lag spikes making it unplayable. Sure my ping is high, but my game still runs smoothly. This is easily one of the best communities I've come across on Gmod, and if it said UK/EU in the title, I may have deviated from joining as I would have assumed that I would lag terribly.

Have to agree with Henny on this one, I might have been less inclined to join as well if it had mentioned what you're suggesting out of the assumption that I would lag from living much farther away. Overall, personally don't see this being needed at all.

Here's a suggestion, since you hate playing on our server because your ping is too high, maybe don't play? Why are you even bothering to try to get us to add UK to the title of the server when it won't effect your ping at all?? Just instead of joining a ZARP server when you open up Gmod next time, sort the servers by ping low>high and find servers closer to you.
