Not really an exploit. The duplicate checker checks for duplicate posts to avoid spam - the moment you change anything to the post it will bypass the checker.

Really it's only in place to stop people from unnecessarily spamming the forums. 30 seconds isn't that long to begin with, so if someone wants to spam the forums with unnecessary bullshit they can do so and always could. Obviously they do risk a forum ban by doing so.
