TOPIC: [TTT Suggestion] Minigames

Suggestion Title: Minigame(s)

How would it benefit the server:

At a playercount of 30+ players, rounds can get pretty long.
Newer players always ask for a spectator deathmatch, but since it lags the server this is not an option.
I'd like to give spectators something else to do while they wait for the next round to begin so they won't get bored and leave eventually.

Another plus for it is that I think it could be made almost entirely clientsided, but I dunno about that.
Eitherway its not heavy in terms of computing ressource for the server.

Also this is something I personally haven't seen on TTT servers yet, so it would make ours more different from others.

Potential Issues/Exploits:

The game I coded is fun to play imo, but not for long as it isn't very rewarding.
A potential fix for this would be to reward with points/experience say 5 or 10 xp/points per win for example but thats optional.

Additional notes:

The game is called 'Guess it!'.
Basically the script thinks of a random number between 1 and 100 and you have 10 trys to guess the correct one.
Its very simple and straight forward.

I also thought of more difficultys where you only have 5 lives or 10 lives but the number is between 1 amd 500 or something.

The core game is functional but still work in progress.

Before I continue making more with the script I currently have I'd like to know what you guys think sooo.. let me know please!

To be honest when it comes to being dead for a long amount of time people tend to either just talk in dead chat or just tab out. Like no offence to your idea but i could find better stuff to do while dead than play that cus it sounds boring as fuck. The idea of adding minigames to play while you are dead is not entirely a bad idea but they would have to be decent otherwise people will just tab out or do other stuff. I'm sure the some interesting minigames could be created but i dont think many people will actually use them.

Also if that is your game you might want to have it tell you whether the correct number is higher or lower than your guess otherwise it would be insanely hard.

We used to have a spectator deathmatch but it lagged the server if we can find something fun that doesn't lag the server then I would definitely like to see it be implemented.

Like I said, if I play it myself it keeps me entertained for 2-3 minutes, which would be enough to kill the time between

I made this one because it was relatively easy and fast to do with the level of coding knowledge I have and
I wanted to share this idea while having an example of what I mean when I say minigame.
If you got any ideas for a 'decent' minigame, tell me about it and I could tell you if I can do it.


Now for the second part:
the game does tell you to guess higher or lower.

You can do a Space Invader clone, that would be kinda fun to play

Im kinda split on this idea, It could be a fun idea thats not very complex that would not be hard to implement that gives players something to do while they are dead. But on the other hand it would look out of place on a the TTT server and would reduce interaction with players who are dead, It would also give players who have been punished something that does not look like much of a punishment.
Overall its an ok idea just not sure if it would go with the TTT gamemode, Looks kinda out of place in my opinion.

I really want see Random Rounds(Minigames).
