Server Name: Jailbreak
Suggestion Title: Guards must remain in the main jail area/zone until the jails are opened and the warden gave his first order ( Besides the one they give when the cells are not yet open ). How would it benefit the server: Give the ability for prisoners to actualy escape from their cells and seek for a weapon. Because as of right now as soon as the round starts a bunch of people just run and camp into all the usual escaping tunnels that prisonners have in their cells and that completly ruins the whole point of having them there in the first place. I feel like the guards should remain in the jail area until the first order after opening the jail is given to at least give a chance to those who have a escaping route to capitalize on it. if ur weak ass cant escape from new summer you shouldn't play prisoner, on lifepunch they completely blocked off both cell vents and it was perfectly fine. its not all about running from your spawn point to try and win as thats complete bs, you should take the opportunities you have during the round to escape.

If the guards split up to guard the tunnels, that puts themselves at a major disadvantage and would make it easy for prisoners to just escape by running past the guards as they wouldn't be able to kill and track all the prisoners down

My point isn't not being able to escape once the doors are open because as I said in other posts, because of the hitreg you can just run under 3 guards fire and escape with more than half your hp, but rather the fact that guards camping those tunnels at the start makes the whole thing useless. Fixing the shitty hitreg and the insane speed at which you can run away from guards is another issue unrelated to the whole point of this suggestion. |
