TOPIC: Petrol is TOO EXPENSIVE

Suggestion for RP server #1

I'm not suggesting we add anything- just that we change something. Mainly, the price of gas. Just lower it a bit! I will not demand a certain price- but $750 for 20L is too damn much; that's $37.5 per liter of gas! If I were to make a demand, I would like the price to be halved to perhaps $375 for 20L or less

If you wondered why few people are using cars- it's probably the gas prices. At $37.5 per liter, it would cost $1875 to fill the entire 50L gas tank by using the pumps at the petrol station. Two laps around the map will just about run this tank dry.
I tested the rate of fuel consumption- and I have judged it to be about 1L every 8 to 6 seconds while driving the golf cart at full speed.
Now- lets be conservative and say it's 1L every 8 seconds. At this rate- you will burn 7.5L in a minute. That means in one minute, you spend $281.25! Is this too much? You tell me.

Cars are a privilege. I never wonder why nobody drives a car, because allot of people DO drive them.

Fuel is expensive irl too, deal with it.

It's only under $2,000... I piss that out on ammo every life .
Plus, money is easy to make in DarkRP, if you get a good base and a fair amount of weapons.

I am getting to deal with the gas prices- but it's really difficult to drive and not lose money. I ask around a ton for spare cash. If you're a gangster, I understand perfectly that the prices are fine, but I'm not the type who farms money all day and night.

I agree with Scottie, it does work just like in real life, fuel is expensive, so should be in game.

Cars are meant and brought in-game for rich people.

As Scott said cars are a luxury and reason why they cost half a million, when you get around 3 million it doesn't really effect you - its only $750 for 20 liters not alot.

The price is ok, if it was lower EVERYBODY had a car and this would f*** up.. You would see cars everywhere
