TOPIC: [TTT Suggestion] Better Player Joining Alerts

Suggestion Title: Better alerts for when players join the server

How would it benefit the server: Make it a lot easier for staff to manage and check recent punishments

Potential Issues/Exploits: N/A

Additional notes: Just that the alert we get now only says how many warnings (not recents) they have and not if they are recent or expired. It would help if it showed how many punishments instead, as that is what we have to warn them about and then ban them, and make sure it just says the amount that are recent and not their full time amount. This would make it a lot easier to see who needs warning about their recent punishments before they get banned, rather than checking through the F6 menu every time, we could warn them when they join the server. The alert could look something like this "Player X joins the server with 13 recent punishments", so only a slight change from the alert we get now but it would make a massive difference and make it a lot easier for us.

for a second there, just by reading the title, I thought your suggestion was to alert people on the server when a "better player" was joining.

Even if it was added you Still need to check f6 to see if any staff messed up such as 2 staff members muting/gaging a player at the same time.

This is not really needed. Staff can very easily tell which players are constantly breaking rules and should check their recent punishments, like if you know that a user is always breaking rules you should always check their f6. If it says a user joins with 13 total warns the logical thing to do would be to check their f6 as soon as possible

As for what Drconor said you should always check for double gags/mutes before banning a user, however if you do accidentally gag/mute someone twice its best to get a head admin to remove one.

Another reason this is helpful, not all staff, infact most haven’t always been the person they are today and have lots of previous warns, makes them look bad when then join and it says they join with 40 warnings, same goes for users that have improved their attitude and actually don’t have any recents when you check, it really would help if it only showed the amount of punishments they have that haven’t expired.
