It's happened to me a few times, the best way to deal with it is to copy your post's text before submitting, that way if it shows the DDOS Protection message you can just paste what you had before.	Morgan Offline Legendary Member Posts: 15970 Thanks received: 6527 Karma: 105

It's better that you have to go through a bit more effort to copy & paste your post before posting it due to a chance that it might refresh than it is to lose access to the forums due to DDoS attacks.
As Morgan said, best precaution to take it just to copy and paste whatever you've written because, even though it doesn't happen all the time, you obviously don't want to lose your posts

Lost a post like 4 times and had to rewrite it 3 times. Spicy was witness to this madness. Everytime I refresh or do anything. "This'll only take 5 seconds" ...
