Suggestion Title:Summarised Rules in Loading menu

How would it benefit the server:Adding a summary of the rules would be a great addition to the overly-empty loading screen. Currently, the rules are incredibly lengthy and most people just skip over them, or misinterpret them. In the loading screen, you could write a few rules that are super fast to read through and give the newer players, or just regular players, 1. something to do while the screen is loading 2. Remind them or teach them of the rules that are in the server.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Some rules are a bit vague/detailed on how they work, meaning a short description wouldn't explain it fully. To fix this issue, in the actual summarised rules, you can write (To learn more about this rule, or any other rule, write !rules in the chat for a more detailed explanation of the rules."

This I support - a lot of other servers do it. Great suggestion!

The rules are there for a reason. If we were to summarize them then what is the point of having the ones we leave out?

Everything you've got concerns are addressed in the suggestion itself. Most people aren't bothered to read the longass rules, and just want to actually get in the game. When joining the server, you get to read maximum like 3 rules, but most aren't bothered to do that - they want to just close out and start playing as fast as possible, WHICH IS ALSO ENCOURAGED by the fact that new players aren't put to spectate, they are joined to the live round as innocents.

And yea, I mean in the loading screen. This would make the users actually read them as theres really nothing better to do in the loading screen. Imo its a great addition, and users wouldn't be skipping over the rules.

And to say something like "well its their fault if they chose to skip over it" in any case, this would mean less players break the rules. I don't judge players for just wanting to play as fast as possible.

Might be a good addition. Too often I have punished new players for "RDM - Read the rules"

And opening a chatbox does not always works. As indeed, some players are fairly young and do not bother reading the rules at first.

In my opinion, it can only have positives. Especially if it encourages people to type !rules when they access the server.

I read your idea fully, I wasn't very clear on my point as it was late so I wasn't thinking straight.

If I was a user and joined a server for the first time ever and read rules on the loading menu, I would pretty much not read the full version. You know what I mean?

Adding "Do /rules in-game to read them fully!" in the message as well will only incentivise users to read them sooner, rather than not at all.

They read these, everythings good, there will be less punishments. The punishments that came after that will encourage users to read the FULL rules, that is if they haven't done that before.

Doesn't the MOTD open up the rules upon connecting to the server?
