PROP HUNT RELATED
Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming on the server:
Spamming in general is ridiculous, annoying and should be punished for bothering the other players who are just trying to have some fun.
First, I would remind them with a warning that spamming in any sort of way is against the rules. If that doesn't work, I'll have no choice but to punish them with mutes, gags or even in extreme situations (in case the problem escalates) with kicks or even bans, for I only give people one more chance so they can learn from their mistakes. If they don't learn, I believe that commiting the same mistake is an ignorant behaviour, because, not only did they not learn at first, nothing can tell me they won't do it again. It is within my power as a human being to handle every dire situation, big or small, calmly, fairly and professionally.
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server:
First I'd go check if the player is really exploiting the map. If I can't come to a conclusion by myself, I will consult with other members of the moderation team for a better and easier understanding of the situation. Considering the possibility of players not knowing what either an exploit is or not knowing the spot they're on is considered an exploit, I believe that a warning should suffice as a fast and easy first approach for both the player and the moderator, instructing the player that his behaviour is against the rules and can be punishable.
If the player ignores the warning and continues to escalate the situation, then I shall take immediate action by reporting the incident down to the smallest detail (including also the actions that were taken), by doing the following: Kick/Ban - Reason.
Explain the meaning of the term "ghosting" and give an example scenario:
"Ghosting" is a form of cheating in-game by handing information to a player from a third-party in an online game to know the other players' whereabouts.
You can do this in many different online games, but for the sake of the topic, I'll mention Gmod Prop Hunt.
This can be viewed in the following example:
Dead players from the Props team are disclosing information to someone from the Hunters team. This results in the player from the Hunters team to know the other props' locations and disrupt the gameplay for many players.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words):
I don't believe I SHOULD be chosen, but rather I CAN be chosen. I'm just a regular guy trying to have some fun and I want the same for everyone else and if being a moderator can help with that, then I'm all in.
All I want is for the players to not worry about any sort of misbehaviour from someone else, leading to a chaotic and disrupting server (and I've had my fair share of experience to know that).
PS:
JUST IN CASE I'm not around in the forum and you want to contact me, then make yourselves free to do so on my discord account which is where I am most of my time.
