Steam Name: SilentCall
Time Zone: GMT (UTC+0) Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/silentcall What server are you applying for? Bunny hop (BHOP) SteamID: STEAM_0:0:82520348 Current Gametracker Profiles: www.gametracker.com/player/Silent/play.zarpgaming.com:27100/ Estimated Server Time: roughly around 70 hour with all gametrackers combined (Old gametrackers aren't listed but are easy available via a search) Languages I speak: English How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: I believe that my time as an administrator has been useful to becoming part of the lead team on this server for a number of reasons : Firstly, I've managed to gain the knowledge from being an admin on how to successfully administrate the server with very few issues like having to mute/gag players for breaking rules. Secondly, I've had many years of experience from being staff on different servers so I know how the basics of being part of the lead team are and would be able to develop my understanding. What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want): I have been in the community since early 2015 and have been staff on multiple different servers in the past, such as : - SSRP Staff - Deathrun Staff I have a good relationship with the current staff team and player base which would help as it'd be useful when situations arise. I also am very fair when it comes to punishments, normally being very patient with users unless they're being abusive to another member on the server as I have no tolerance for bullying especially when it's meant in a harmful way. I have quite a lot of time spent on BHOP since I first joined in 2015, with over 70 hours dedicated purely just to bhop which might not seem like a lot but nearly 3 days spent bhopping, with about 30 hours out of the 70 being since I joined the bhop staff team. Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: I've never had the experience of anything happening that required the help of a lead team member fortunately as the lead team are very responsive fortunately however it does mean that I can't truthfully answer this question. Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: Firstly, I would speak to the reported staff member and get their perspective on the matter as this is essential because it can give an insight into the matter and how the situation occurred in the first place. Secondly, I would take a look at the evidence reported and see if it matched what the user has reported the staff member in question for or if it matches what the staff member had said, this is very important as if I'm not careful I could either let an abusive staff member away without punishment or warn an innocent staff member. Lastly, I would make a decision based on the evidence and both perspectives on the event and would reply with my decision and why I made it. Example : Accepted [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] After reviewing the evidence provided and speaking to other lead team members and looking at both perspectives of the event I'm going to accept this report as it's clear that the staff member in question made a mistake and they will be spoken to. Denied [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] After reviewing the evidence provided and both perspectives of the event I'm going to deny this report as the evidence isn't sufficient enough. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? I would ask the staff member why he banned the user for such an excessive amount of time and would listen to his reasoning behind it and then from what they've said I'd work through their reasoning and explain why the ban is either unneeded or too long and ask them to correct their mistake and learn for the future. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? I would ask the staff member if they needed any help with the user in question and make sure that they deal with them in an appropriately by either recommending how to deal with the user or dealing with the user myself if the other staff member is struggling as there needs to be teamwork in the staff team. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? I would treat this like an official report on the forums, taking both perspectives etc and asking for any proof. If there wasn't any valid proof then I'd still have a talk to the staff member in question and remind them that they have a role to uphold on the zarp servers and that rule breaking as a staff member can have serious consequences. However, if there was valid proof and it was clear that the staff member knew they were breaking the rules of the server then I'd bring them up for an official warning in the next bhop meeting as it's unacceptable to break rules let alone as a staff member, it gives a bad light to the staff team and the community. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? I would ask the staff member who's causing the argument to stop as arguing within the staff team will only lead towards more problems within the staff team. I'd them message them privately and ask what happened and if there is a problem I'd try to speak to both staff members and try to resolve the issue between either of them. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? Firstly, I would speak to the staff member privately and ask them what they're doing as they're ruining the experience on the server for others and harming users. I would also ask them not to do it again otherwise there will be consequences. Secondly, I would speak to other lead team members to see if it's the first time this staff member has been breaking rules and if they've broken rules recently and both the other lead team member and I agree I'd bring them up for an official warning at the next bhop meeting.
