How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I've been Admin twice and Super Admin once already, I know how to handle reports,deal with F1's. The time of being a Moderator and then Admin is really important to learn dealing with certain problems and to get used to every command, really specific rules and having a routine. I do believe that I'm ready for the next Step. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want): Activity In the past 3 Weeks I've been playing as much as I could, mostly in the evening. I'm playing everyday and I try to switch arround on all Servers as much as possible though I focus the most on Server 1 due its being the Mainserver of Zarp SSRP. Unfortunately Gametracker doesn't always record my time correctly so there are holes bewteen my playtime but I can ensure that I am actively playing/handling F1's. Experience & Dedication to Zarp I've always been on Zarp only. My friend made me buy Gmod and the first Server he showed me was Zarp. I got addicted to it and eventually became Staff back then. I resigned due personal issues and now I got back to Garry's Mod in general and Zarp. I want to serve as Staff as I did before. Reputation I've joined Zarp September 2014 and made alot of friends here. Even though you can't be liked by everyone I'd say that I do have a good reputation overall. People tend to trust me with different Issues and complaints. I'm happy to be part of the Community for such a long time already. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: Often I see demote requests or simply reports on Moderators and Admins and I'd like to be able to deal with them. Also, dealing with issues regarding World Props or Supervising Staff if neccesary for certain Situations. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: First I'd open the Demote request/report and look into the Story of the User. Next I'd be looking at the evidence he provided and decide If it is valid or not. if it is a valid report the next Step would be either to contact another Leadteam member If needed or straight messaging the accused Staffmember, It depends on the Situation and what the Staffmember did ofcourse. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? If I see it happening ingame I'd directly approach the Staffmember via private messaging and/or tp'ing to him and explain him what he did wrong and give him Advice. Then I'd ask him to reduce the ban. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? I'd tp to his F1 he's dealing with and try to assist him as good as I possibly can. I'd ask him to stay calm, check the logs one by one together with him and sort everything out to make the F1 easier for him. My Goal is to teach him how to use every log correctly and how to deal with every F1 situation that could come up in the future. After the F1 is done, I'd stay with him and be open for any Questions he has. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? I'd speak with both players, look into the evidence there is and If needed discuss it either with another Leadteam member or If the Situation allows it, I'd directly talk to the accused Admin and solve the problem immedietly. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? I'd speak to the disrespectful Staffmember in private and tell him to watch his language. If he's joking or being serious doesn't matter for me, he should act mature at any point. Especially in public (admin chat ). ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? If the Staffmember Is actually harming other players by literally abusing his powers to the extreme I'd need to take away his Powers immediately. Following by talking to him what he's been doing wrong and trying to contact another Leadteam member at the same time to solve the Problem. These kind of problems are not to joke about and I feel like discussion it with someone else to hear a different opinion can be really helpful. If the Staffmembers rulebreaks are minor I'd take action by tp'ing the Staffmember and myself to a seperate place and ask him if he knows what he did wrong followed by explaining him why It was not okay to do so and giving him advice. I'd ask him to apologise and sorting out the problems he created with the Users. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── I should be chosen because I am experienced as Staff, I've been doing my Job always as good as possible and never abused my Powers no matter what rank I was at. I've always tried to be friendly and helpful to everyone, Users and Staff equally. As a Superadmin I'd like to be able to help out more by having the access to more tools and different kind of powers. I want to make the experience for the Users better and would love to see more new People on the Server just to see it growing even more. I've always been on Zarp and appreciate the work everyone does. Note: My activity isn't the greatest but that's all the freetime I have.
