Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:

I have been a moderator for roughly 3 weeks now. I have dealt with many cases over these past 3 weeks that allowed me to gain a better knowledge of the rules and the community overall and how to deal with peculiars F1 requests. Thanks to all of this, I feel like my time spent as a moderator as given me enough experience to deal with cases that as a moderator I cannot deal with or require an admin's assistance ( Scamming attempts, Player accused of continuously breaking rules ).

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):

I had this one F1 request about a raid with a building sign within someone's base. Upon bringing the guy who raided the base, he told me that there was no building sign in the base and that was the reason why he raided them. However, upon checking the player's base more thoroughly I discovered that there indeed was a building sign that was there prior to the raiding. The thing was that the sign was actualy inside of the base, on the top of a wall and rather small and heard to even notice. Despite the rules being unclear about where and what size a building sign should have I still managed to calm down the player who was enraged of having been raided with a building sign by conversing with another admin who gave me feedback that the sign was indeed too small and barely noticeable given it was actualy inside of the base. Both players ended up coming to an agreement and no harm was done that day.

First I'd like to congratulate you on getting moderator. Now let's get down to business.
As a moderator it is your duty to enforce the rules on the DarkRP Server. And with great powers, come great responsibility. As a moderator you will be tasked mostly to handle the F1 request on the server. And in order to do this properly you are granted numerous commands to will help you in your job. You will first notice that you are no longer able to make F1 request yourself. Instead pressing F1 opens a new menu which is sort of your own " admin menu " giving you informations and abilities to help you in your task. The different tabs being

Admin Requests :
This is where you will see the current F1 request that need to be handled. By right-clicking on an F1 request you will see several options. The main two being " Handle that request " which will put you on the job to take care of it, or " Discard as spam/abuse " Which is what you click on if you consider the F1 request to be disposable or just redundant. An important thing to notice is that some F1 might already be handled by other staff member. In that case you cannot handle it yourself. You also must do the F1 in orders of priority ( From the oldest to the newest ).

Warnings :
The warning menu shows the warning from the current players on the server. It also allows you to remove warning from a player if you accidentaly warned them or believe they did not deserver a warn ( Tough it is highly advised if it's not your own warning to not do that )

Logging :
Most likely the most useful tab of them all. The logs show you numeros informations about what's going on on the server. Such as who killed who, where, with what weapons while providing the STEAM_ID of both users. They can also tell you if a player switched job, if a player arrested/unarrested someone, if someone connected/disconnected recently, if a player changed names or broke NLR and so on... It is an extremly usefull menu that you ought to consult often while handling F1 as it will provide you with better informations.

Active NLR :
The active NLR is pretty much self-explanatory. It shows which player is currently under the NLR rule, in which district and until what time.

As a moderator you will also be given numerous commands to help you do your job more easily. Such as :

/tp OR /tp <STEAM_ID> : Allows you to teleport to the location you are looking at or teleport the player where you are looking.
/goto <STEAM_ID> : Allows you to go to the player who's steamID you specified
/bring <STEAM_ID> : Allows you to bring the player who's steamID you specified next to you
/back OR /back <STEAM_ID> OR /backspawn : Allows you to return yourself to the last location from which you teleported yourself or the player who's steamID you specified.
/freeze <STEAM_ID> : Allows you to freeze a player for a certain ammount of time or indefinitly ( Mostly used in case the player is not being cooperative to prevent him from leaving a sit or continuing to break a rule ).
/slay <STEAM_ID> : Mostly used when you feel a warning is too harsh but you still believe the player ought to be punished for what he did.
/mute <STEAM_ID> : Used to mute/gag a player if he is micspamming for a specified duration.
/warn <STEAM_ID> " Reason " : The command you will use to warn rulebreakers. Specifying the reason is of utmost importance and telling them why so they understand why they are being warned.
/kick <STEAM_ID> : Used in case someone has been breaking multiple rules and you feel a warning is not harsh enough. Or in case of someone having many recents for the same reasons.
/ban OR /unban <STEAM_ID> : Used to ban or unban someone from a job if you believe they have broken too many rules specific to the said job.

Another important menu to know about is the F6 menu. This menu allows you to check a specific player's warnings and punishments. Telling you at what time and for what reasons they were punished. This menu is helpful if you wonder wether or not you should warn a player or not or even ask for an admin's help for a ban/jail request.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

As a moderator you ought to understand you are not here to mindlessly use your powers and recklessly give out warnings to everyone. When handling an F1 always make sure that both parties are available. Be understanding of both sides, listen not only to the victim's side but also the story of the one being accused. Remain respectful no matter how offensive one player might be towards you. Remember that you now represent the staff of the ZARP community and therefore a role model to other players.



Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Hello player x,
Upon reviewing your ban appeal and seeing that this is your first ban I have decided to accept your ban appeal. Your ban has now been shortened to 1 week. I would advise you to have a better look at the rules especialy the ones concerning propspamming in order to not make the same mistakes again.


Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words):
After 3 weeks of being a moderator I have been on numerous and different cases. I have helped many peoples amongst the community and helped dealing with rule breakers on a daily basis never faltering as best as I could. As an admin I would be able to help the community even more and be more efficient in dealing with some F1 that as a moderator am unable to deal with such as scam attempts or continuous rulebreakers. I have also noticed the lack of active staff members in certain timezone. Noticeably during the evening/night. Being from europe I will be able to be there when required and when there is no other staff member available. I hope you will see in me a worthy candidate of becoming an administrator and thank you for reviewing my application. As an additional note I intend to participate in the next meeting on saturday.

What server do you moderate on? Because if you've been a mod for 3 weeks that really surprises me, I've never seen you once.

And if you've never seen me once then I am afraid you are the one to blame. I will not boast about my F1 count but Im pretty sure I've made enough and played enough to not simply go " unnoticed " if that is what you are trying to imply.
