RP Name: Ham Man
Time Zone: GMT -5 Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198067088152/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:53411212 Current Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - www.gametracker.com/player/Ron/darkrp.zarpgaming.com:27015/ Server 2 - www.gametracker.com/player/Ron/darkrp.zarpgaming.com:27025/ Server 3 - www.gametracker.com/player/Ron/usa.zarpgaming.com:27015/ Estimated Server Time: 200+ hours. Languages I speak: English. Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Random Death Match is the act of harming or killing someone else for an invalid reason. This most commonly occurs when someone is ignorant, or ignoring, the rules and decides to kill someone for fun and without any valid reason whatsoever. An example is: Player A walks up to player B who is walking down the street and shoots them in the face because player B looked at player A funny. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: New Life Rule is returning to, or interacting with, the district where you previously died at before the 3 minute timer from the time you died ends. An example is: Player A dies in the rich district and runs back to the rich district before the 3 minute scripted timer is up. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I'd bring player X to a roof and ask him to sit tight as I teleport to player Y to make sure he isn't in the middle of a raid, defending, etc. before bringing player Y to the roof as well. I'd ask player Y why he killed player X and listen/wait for his side of the story while checking for recent warnings/notes on record for both players. After receiving player player Y's story I'd ask if player X can confirm/deny this. From there, I'd work a solution out based on the stories from both of them and giving out appropriate punishment based on previous recent warnings/infractions and if player Y actually RDM'd player X. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I'd bring player X and Y after checking to make sure they aren't in a situation already to a roof. I'd question player Y if he both knows what NLR is, and if he was breaking it. After I receive the story from player Y and X I would ask player X if he had any video evidence of player Y breaking NLR. If so, I'd request he send me a link to the video and punishment player Y based on the video and recent warnings/punishments. If not, I'd give a verbal warning to player Y to refrain from reentering death areas shortly after dying and to obey the 3 minute timer located at the top of their screen. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words): I should be chosen as a moderation for the server as I'll ensure that my administrative duties come before playing the game. I understand that as applying to be a moderator, if accepted, it is my duty to actually fulfill my role as a moderator which to me includes prioritizing F1's (Especially if no/very little other staff are on) over playing the game. I'll also make sure that I act in a mature and professional manner while conducting my duties and that I'll strive to set an example to newer players and help better explain rules/mechanics of the game instead of just telling them to "Don't do it again.". I ensure I'll remain cool headed to help maintain a professional image of the both the staff team, and the community as a whole. I also have a lot of experience in various communities and games being a staff member, and have a good deal of skills related to staffing. Note: My previous name(s) included: An Absolute Madman. I'm also considering a name change to Ron_ to better reflect who I am on the forums/in-game to prevent confusion. |

I see you online on S1 quite a lot and you keep to rules and be responsible from what I have seen. Game trackers a good, but most of the staff look for a solid 2 weeks of activity which might be a problem. Lets hope you've been good and that will change their mind.

I'd just like to say that I've been using different names for a variety of reasons so it might seem like I haven't been on the server for a good 2+ weeks, but I can assure you that my activity has and will remain at an acceptable level. |
