Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
Being a moderator has taught me many things to prepare me for admin, sort of like admin training per se. It has taught me to read and familiarize with the rules more often to keep my memory refreshed in order to staff correctly. Being moderator also has taught me how to handle a variety of situations and allows me to become better and grow as a staff member. My Time as a moderator has only allowed me to grow, learn from mistakes and become better as an administrator.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
Often, players will get angry and decide to kill me or other players during sits. Rather than banning them (for like an hour) or picking the player up with a physics gun, I have to result with another warn, kick, or use precious time calling an administrator and dealing with it appropriately that could be used to handle more f1s.
If you had to write a Facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
First, let's start with the f1 menu. Here, you can find Players' F1s in the first tab. To handle an F1, right click on it and press "handle this." Then, you may teleport to them and deal with the situation accordingly. In The Second Tab, you will find all the recent warnings that have been issued by staff. (Also See The F6 Menu) In The next tab, you will find Logging. This is extremely important, this is where you find evidence and match stories with logs. this can also be used to tell who kills, arrests breaks NLR, dies, etc. Last, you have the "Active NLR" tab which you can use to see all players' active NLR in all districts. This can be used in sits when player x is accusing player y of NLR. Second, we have the tab menu. use this to perform commands and copy SteamIDs safely. The commands you may use are Teleport, Bring, Goto, Freeze, Kick, Mute, And Slay. These are all available via the tab menu. Last, we have the f6 menu. This is used to check a player's warnings using their name (If Online) or SteamID(If Offline). You can use this to judge whether or not to trust a player if you are near a conclusion, or to kick or ban them depending on their previous warns. (Ban Only Available As An Administrator) If you have questions please contact me or a Super/Head Admin. Also, remember never to use names in your commands as it may cause issues! Always use the tab menu or logs to copy a player's SteamID. Thank you and good luck in your new position.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology, and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for prop spam and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello Player x, The Staff Team and I have looked over your appeal and came to a conclusion. Your Appeal Has Been:
Accepted/Denied
Please Contact A Staff Member If You Have Any Questions or Concerns. Thank You And Remember To Follow The Rules!
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words):
I believe I should be promoted because I am very hard working and diligent staff member. I believe I'm very Important to the team and promoting me would allow a safer environment for all players. Becoming an administrator would allow me to handle harder situations more effectively. (i.e. a player is RDMing and instead of letting them kill me or another player and going into the tab menu to find their name, I can pick them right up, freeze them, and deal with the situation accordingly.) Becoming an administrator would not only improve my experience and effectiveness as staff, but it would greatly improve each and every player's experience to make zarp a magnificent place.
