Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario

Random Deathmatch (abbreviated to "RDM") is a term used to denote when a player randomly kills other players without valid reasons. For example, if I were playing a game of Trouble in Terrorist Town and I was a innocent and perhaps a fellow innocent were to instigate in the act of shooting directly towards me or even killing me this would classify as RDM. However it is also relevant if I was to be a traitor and have not yet commited any traitorous acts but an innocent kills me without proof of my teaming. Additionally this can be seen as killing upon suspicion; and any other endeavours the server rules can see fit as to break the rules of RDM.

Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario
According to the specific Zarp TTT rules anything from having a Terrorist weapon without announcement can be valid for a called KOS. Even so, killing of an innocent without reason can also result in a valid and reasonable Kill on sight call. Additionally when a C4 is observed to be planted this can also result in a KOS. Yet this is parallel to a traitor weapon so the fourth reason can be because a false KOS is made, resulting in an innocents death. Thus leading to a call for the murderer to be killed is reasonable.

Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios
An unacceptable KOS is made when an innocent jumps to conclusion based on suspicion to kill another player without the valid evidence and grounds to base the KOS on. Another example would be if a player were to shoot away any of the blocks (if the detective hasn’t called for them) and a call to kill this person is made. You cant call a KOS upon a player who has shot a diamond block without the command to take them to the furnace or the tester room.

Why I should be chosen
Essentially, my reason for applying is simple. I want everyone to enjoy the game fairly and have a fun time doing so. As one of the older members of Zarp and an older player on the TTT servers I believe I can highlight decisions that can be made properly and more maturely than my counterparts. Moreover, I feel as if I can instigate a smooth running of the server , aiding the current moderators and admins to bring ruling upon the server with justice and reason. As having played over 300 hours on Gmod , 50 of which is on the Zarp servers, I believe I am more than knowledgeable enough for the role of moderator and to be able to offer my own experience (of being a rookie once) to understand how to handle situations successfully and to everyone else’s enjoyment. Furthermore I have found myself playing on the server without admins and moderators being present , usually in the morning (GMT time) and having to struggle against the constant random death match of other individuals. I think that with a higher presence of Admins and Moderators it can aid the servers ability to cope with these acts and further expand the level of play and positivity that can be happening. Please do consider me for the role as I can offer my enthusiasm and positivity to the community.

Dan you have great activity and I have met you once in game and you seemed like a nice guy. However you have 5 fairly recent punishments. They are for RDM such as randomly thrown grenades. And have also been warned for prop abuse. This makes me question wether you truly know the rules. I believe you should apply again when you have less or no recent punishments!

Cheers for all the advice and how i can further improve upon my application. No worries, i will make amendments to my character and assert these punishments.
I will be reapplying later in the next month with limited punishments to my name and a cleaner record.

Cheers dude. I believe there is some discrepancy amongst the reports after playing today i feel like some may be unjut or without my ability to argue them.None the less i will be checking back on this thread regularly to see any updates. I am still fully confident in my self to give a good service to the team.

Hey Dan, I've met you in-game and you seem like a really nice guy, your activity is great and you have a good application, the only negative I see right now is your recent punishments, you have 5, as Jim_Jam said they won't be recent in 2 weeks, so IF you get denied I think you should apply again in the following week(s).

You have a great application and great activity. You're also a really nice guy to talk to. However, you have 5 recent punishments. Two of those recent punishments are slays that would acompany your warn, so in that case you have 3 recent punishments. Still a lot, but people have been accepted with that amount in the past and if I were in the meeting I'd vote for you. Sadly enough I can't be there.

If this gets denied then please reapply next week or, even better, when you have no more recent punishments.
