How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: When i first become staff and was learning the ropes it was difficult but i soon got used to it and sometimes seeing the same people coming on and off rdming everyday and getting to know the community, As an admin it helped me because it reinforced my knowledge of ulx and logs as well as learning some new commands and when to use it such as ban. I built friendships with both staff and ordinary players which makes my stay with the community all the more fun.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
I have built friendships with the staff and the community and hopefully gained your trust. I am always on the server and always try to remain as active as possible on a daily basis. I am approachable and friendly I think, so that if anyone has a questions they can ask me without feeling intimidated. I can have fun and joke about but also know when to be serious. I am not biaist towards people even if they might be my friend because the rules come first. If i ever do something wrong i will apologise and get it undone.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
When i was mod what i found hard was locating info in the damage logs and corresponding it to the report menu.. Then i found the search menu on the top and found many other items you can show on the logs. There were other problems such as if you could prop kill as a t which then i had to go double check and confirm before reviewing my answer.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First I would go I'll handle this and i will first ask the staff member what happened while looking at the evidence provided on the report. I would ask any other staff members that might of been on at the time. Also check if the user is a respectable member of the community or someone who has just come on and speak to him about what happened.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
If they made an appeal check what the ban is for and the evidence on the appeal. Then i would speak to the staff on teamspeak or steam as to why he banned the user for that amount of time for that reason. I will then try to contact the user as to his side of the story and anymore evidence. If the user isn't lying i will then speak to the staff member as to why he did it and if he is lying/little evidence i will deny the appeal and that would be the end.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would message the admin on steam/teamspeak or admin chat and tell him that he is not dealing with the report in a mature and appropriate manner and instruct him on the correct way on how to do it.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would ask the accusing staff member of any evidence of the other staff member breaking rules and if there is evidence i will try to get both into teamspeak to chat to about the incident. First i will ask the staff member accused from his side of the story and then i will ask the other staff member their side of the story plus any evidence that they have related to this. Depending how serious they broke the rules is depending on the punishment they would get,
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would ask them both nicely to chill it. If they continue I will move them out the channel and speak to them and ask them nicely to stop because they are representing the server and staff team. If its an ongoing issue i will try speaking to them both in teamspeak and working out what is wrong and what can be done to fix it.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would speak to the staff member as well as getting the head admin involved. I will then gather evidence on what the staff member has done as well as apologising to the user who had been effected by the staff member. I would also speak to the staff member as to why he was doing it as well as getting the HA in the channel and giving him the evidence so that he can decide what to do.
