Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
RDM is when a player kills another player for no valid RP reason. For example, player
x kills player
y as he does not like the prices in his shop.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
NLR states that a player cannot return to the district he had previously died in for 3 minutes. For example, if player
x dies in the Suburbs. He cannot return there until his 3 minutes are up.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First, I would teleport to player
x. I would take him to a roof and then ask him for his side of the story. Then, I would teleport to player
y and make sure I do not teleport him at an inopportune time. I would then teleport player
y to the sit and ask for his side of the story. If they both check out, I would ask player
x for some proof of the RDM. If player
x does not have said proof, player
y would not be punished. If player
x does have proof, I would look at player
y's warnings and punish him accordingly.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
First, I would teleport to player
x. I would take him to a roof and then ask him for his side of the story. Then, I would teleport to player
y and make sure I do not teleport him at an inopportune time. I would then teleport player
y to the sit and ask for his side of the story. I would then look at logs for NLR notices. If no notices are shown, I would ask player
x for proof of the NLR break. If he did have proof, I would look at player
y's recent punishments and punish him accordingly. If he did not, player
y would not be punished.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words):
I believe I should be chosen as I have relatively recent experience in moderating ZARP SSRP. I have previous experience so I know how to handle many situations. I am always open to criticism and am always striving for improvement. I strive to be as friendly to other players as possible. One of my highest values is integrity and I hold myself to this. When I was previously mod, I remained dedicated, always doing F1s when I had the opportunity and always trying to help newer players out. I helped point them in the right direction towards a fun, non-rulebreaking time on the servers. I am also in an American time zone, meaning I can be on when many of the European staff members (a majority) are asleep. I hope to make ZARP a better place one step at a time.
