Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): There have been times where people would be rude, and tell me I'm not doing my job right. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: Hello, and welcome to the Moderator side! As Moderator, you get more abilities, and you can find those when you press TAB on your keyboard, and look at your name, or someone else's. For one, Teleportation. If you bind your 'T' key to teleport, using [bind t "say /tp" ] in the console, but without brackets, you can teleport wherever you're looking. Whenever you press F1, you can see every Admin/Mod request, for you to go handle. When you right click an F1, you will click "Handle". Then you can either go to his tag in TAB and teleport to him, or right click the F1 again, and click "Go To". Once you're done with the F1, you right click the F1 again, then click "Finish". Each F1 you handle gets recorded, and you can see how many you have total and weekly in your tag in TAB. If someone isn't abiding by the rules, and you trust they won't do it again, you can give them a verbal warning, telling them not to do it again. If you know they'll either do it again or break another rule, you can go to the chat and type in "/warn INSERTNAMEHERE RDM". Put the player's name or SteamID where the INSERTNAMEHERE is, then put what they did wrong where the RDM is. You can press F1 and go to loggings, which will help you find out if someone was killed or arrested, and it shows who did it. F6 will show you warning, and who gave them. If you go to TAB and click on a rulebreaker's name, you can freeze, slay, or teleport/go to/ bring whoever it is. Make sure you know the rules well, and uphold the rules. Good luck! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Georgie apologizes for his ban. I'd check the ban list and see what he was banned for. If it's his first ban, and he was banned permanently because of prop push, I'd take off his ban, only if he apologized in a mature way, and promised he wouldn't do it again. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words): Being a moderator is amazing, it's been a great opportunity and I've learned a lot from it, but being an Admin would allow me to help the server more. As being a moderator, I'd have to warn someone 3 times for them to be kicked, but as an Admin, I'd be able to ban them for serious rule break, such as hacking and such, and I could watch over the server better. Thank you for reading. |

Hello LightningCrystal,
I am unsure what your F1 count is, but your activity isn't very good - though if you have been solely doing F1's it wouldn't show your activity in the first place. Note that your application could use more work, too. Firstly, you actually diverted from the application template at the question Explain how you would handle the following situation - the template clearly shows this: Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I believe this will come down to how many F1's you've been doing this last week. Good luck! |

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Activity is low (Try to come more often)/F1 count is low as well. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
