Example: Timmy is unsatisfied with his current situation and decides to alleviate his boredom by equipping a psg and killing whoever he sees Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: New Life Rule is the beginning of a new life. Once you die, you are to forget your previous life and move on as a brand new player. You are not to interact with or enter the area in which you died for at least three minutes. Example: Johnny was recently mugged in Lake district and failed to meet the mugger's demand. Due to his failure to pay, Johnny died and must now forget his previous life. This means Johnny is not allowed to return to Lake district for at least three minutes and he should put aside any urge to attempt revenge on the mugger as he has started a new life with no memories of his previous encounters. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would teleport the victim and the accused to a rooftop as to avoid potential interruptions. After I have gathered up all parties involved, I would begin by informing both parties of why I have brought them together and then would proceed by asking both Player X and Player Y to recount the events as they recall them unfolding. Once I have heard both sides, I would ask either player if they have any evidence to back up their claims. If neither user can provide further evidence, I would not issue a punishment as that would require me to trust one user over another which would be unfair. I would then remind both players of the rules surrounding RDM and that it would be in their best interest, if they are unhappy with the results of the sit, to attempt to gather evidence of the supposed rule break next time. I would then TP both players back to their previous locations. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.I would again begin by teleporting both parties to a rooftop to minimize the risk of interruption and would proceed to inform them of why I brought them to me. I would again ask both players for their side of the story and if either party can provide proof to support their claims. If no evidence can be provided and both sides claim innocence I would be unable to issue a punishment to either party. I would then remind both users of the rules regarding NLR and how to avoid breaking them. If either party is unsatisfied with the result of the sit, I would advise them to gather evidence to support their claims for their next sit. I would then TP both players back to their previous locations. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words): I believe I should be chosen as I am an active and invested user in the Zarp SSRP community. I spend a good portion of my free time actively playing and interacting with players in the Zarp community, whether on TS or DarkRP, and would like to be of more service. Being a normal player and actively using the F1 system is fine for most, but I know I am capable of properly handling the responsibilities and expectations of a staff member. I am a former SA for FP's Jailbreak and Operator of their DarkRP server. I have been trusted in the past by current members of Zarp's administration that were part of FP's during my time as staff, to properly handle and assess the concerns of the player-base. I appreciate the chance to apply and the consideration given by the staff during your meeting, regardless of the outcome. |
