Steam Name:
Bazaraxe : ) Time Zone: BST Link to Steam Profile: Steam Profile What server are you applying for? Deathrun SteamID: STEAM_0:0:54453339 Current Gametracker Profiles: ! Deathrun Gametracker ! Estimated Server Time: I've been playing since early 2014, with an estimated server time of 200 hours total. Languages I speak: How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: My time as an admin has contributed a great amount because I've been able to handle %90 of situations very well without worry. I will elaborate more on this with the other questions. What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want): As I've said I've been playing Zarp's deathrun server for a very long time now. I've loved the game mode since the very first time I played it. I've made many friends through deathrun and I'm really enjoying my time as a staff member. I'm a very friendly person and I'm very kind to anyone needs help, this is a very key structure to being a good staff member and helps when you need people to listen to you. I'm also very approachable and I'm open to all opinions and if someone needs help I don't mind speaking to anyone, anywhere, anytime. As I said I've been playing Zarp for almost 4 years now and I've been wanting to help out for a very long time, whilst being staff I am very dedicated and am more than happy to help out when someone needs it, I'm pretty much always available and don't mind leaving current games etc to go help people if need be. I am a very active member of the community and I've been playing Zarp for almost 4 years now, I'm online everyday on either Deathrun or SSRP, I love Zarp so much so it's really nice to help out as a staff member when people need it. My activity helps with being online when people need me to either deal with a rulebreaker or if there are no staff members online at the time. I am a trusted administrator of SSRP I've been doing my job for a couple months now and I've gained a lot of knowledge how and when to use my powers etc. Being staff for so long on SSRP has allowed me to gain trust within the community and that helps when it comes to talking to users and the such and all of this contributes to me being an Super administrator on deathrun. There have been countless times where I've had to correct staff members and show leadership within the team, I know how to do it without causing trouble. Leadership is a key role in becoming an lt staff member, and I can promise you I'd do a fantastic job. Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: Two staff members were arguing with each other and were being really petty, this makes the server looks bad aswell so I tried my best to stop them, but they ignored me and carried on. As a super administrator staff members will listen to me more and I would be able to control the siuation a lot easier. I would never let anything like this happen again and I would do my upmost to stop any staff member from behaving incorrectly. Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: Firstly, I need to let everyone know I'm handling it, and I would do so by replying to the post saying something along the lines of "I'm handling this". After that, I'd read through the report abuse and look at all the evidence and gain all sides of the story by speaking to both parties, I would message the admin on steam and ask to speak to them on teamspeak, once on teamspeak I can then ask for their side of the story, I would then go onto do the same with the user who is reporting the staff member. Here are some examples of how I would reply depending on the appropriate conclusion. Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ]
Hi Sam, thankyou for your report, after reading through your report, collecting all the neccasary information and speaking to both parties I have decided to DENY this report with reason:
Your evidence does not show any proof of any staff member abusing their powers, also after speaking to you on teamspeak your story doesn't quite add up. Thanks for the report, this can be locked. Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ]
Hi Sam, thankyou for your report, after reading through your report, collecting all the neccasary information and speaking to both parties I have decided to ACCEPT this report with reason:
Your proof is valid and does clearly show the staff meember abusing his powers. Thanks for the report, this can be locked. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? As this is a pretty serious matter I would message the staff member immediatly and tell them to rethink their decision as it is way too excessive, then I would speak to him and go through when/why he should use the ban command. After doing all of this I'll give him/her a reasonable ban length for what the user did. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? If a staff member is having trouble dealing with a situation and I'm online I'd happily help them out by messaging them in admin chat and guide them and give them advice. But if a staff member is incorrectly dealing with a user and making the staff team look bad by using excessive power or speaking in a bad manor then I would stop him/her and then ask them to speak to me on teamspeak were I would have him/her explain what happened and why they were doing so in a private spacer. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? Firstly, I'd need to get all possbile information about the situation by talking to both staff members in a private spacer on teamspeak. Here is an example Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] A staff member messages me on steam and tells me that another staff member is trap spamming. I would instantly ask him/her to take screenshots or if possible a video of what's happening, I'd then join the server and go incognito. Then I would go ask the accusing staff member to come on teamspeak and explain to me the situation and his side of the story, then show me the proof they had gathered. I'm given a video showing that the staff member is clearly trap spamming, so I then go speak to the accused staff member in a private spacer. I ask him why he did it and tell him not to do it again, I would then proceed to go tell I higher up staff member. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? Well first of all I would contact both parties through teamspeak or steam and ask for both sides of the story and build up the scenario, then I would see who was the one who started the argument then speak to them both in a private spacer and get them to apoligise to each other and let another lead team member know what's happened. In they end I'll tell both staff members to be more mature and hopefully come to a peaceful conclusion. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? Something like this is really serious so I would take it as a %100 priority, If a staff member is clearly breaking rules and ruining players experiences then I would immediately go incognito, then message them on TeamSpeak or steam and STRICTLY tell them to stop, as it's very unexemplary and makes the staff team and the server look bad, as a staff member they should be setting an example and enforcing the rules not breaking them. I'd then give them a verbal warning and let the rest of the lead team know. |
