RP Name: Johnny Moe
Time Zone: UTC-6:00 - Texas :Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/moonchickendograt SteamID: STEAM_0:0:20029420 Current Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - not applicable Server 2 - not applicable Server 3 - www.gametracker.com/player/MoonChickenDo...arpgaming.com:27015/ Estimated Server Time: 7 hours at the time of the application. Currently 12 hours. Languages I speak: English Explain "Random Deathmatch" and give an example scenario: A random deathmatch is when one player murders another; lacking a clear plan or purpose. Johnny Moe opens fire into a crowd of players. His motive? Not present. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: The New Life Rule is an 'understood' rule that you do not return to the same area where you died, for three minutes. Johnny Moe sits happily in his house; unbeknownst to him, a group of gangsters finds interest in what he is storing in his house. Armed, Johnny waits for them to enter and then opens fire. The gangsters outgun him and he perishes. Obeying server rules; Johnny waits to return until three minutes have passed. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player X accuses player Y of RDMing him, the console log shows that player Y killed player X. 1. I would approach player X and find out what events had transpired. 2. Analyze what job positions were being held by player X and Y at the time of the alleged RDM. 3a. If applicable, check the console/logs to see evidence of the following: "Was there a raid in effect?", "Were other players killed also?", "Was this police related?" 3b. If applicable, ask player X the following questions: "Were other players involved in this event?", "What were you doing before the alleged RDM?", "Do you have a demo, or know someone who does?" 4. After learning player X's side of the story; I would approach player Y, separately, and learn their side of the story. (Repeating step 3b.) 5a. If enough evidence is present to convict player Y of random deathmatching; the appropriate punishment would be issued. 5b. If there is not enough evidence present to convict player Y of random deathmatching; no punishment would be issued; however, I would keep an eye on both player X and Y of any future conflicts. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player X accuses player Y of breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in the console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. If there is plain evidence that the New Life rule was broken; the appropriate punishment would be issued. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words): I have been playing Garry's Mod since 2009. I have thousands of hours of pure, unadulterated gameplay under my belt. I have moderating experience in Sandbox, Trouble in Terrorist Town, and my specialty, DarkRP. I have strong control of my emotions, especially in complex or scary situations. I am unimpressionable when it comes to ridiculous or purposely ignorant conduct. The rules apply to everyone, no friend or acquaintance of mine will sway my judgment. If there is a situation that I feel I am incapable of handling; I will not rush into a judgment, but instead consult with another experienced staff member. All of my in-game time is associated with Server 3. I also live in an appropriate time zone to moderate Server 3. I see a terrific opportunity to help this community grow more mature, and thoughtful players. Above moderating, I would like to be a good impression on the server youth. Thank you for your time. |

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Activity. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
