Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
As a moderator I have helped countless people, completed F1s etc just as every staff member is expected to.
But I've always felt as being "unequipped" in a sense in quite a few situations; being unable to respond to situations (rule breaks) quick enough to prevent significant damage, relying on fellow staff (admins and above) to take over situations which require a greater punishment than a warn or a mute and being unable to actively prevent rule breaks through spectating players.
As an admin I will be able to take a more proactive role in preventing rule breaks, being able to increase my response time and most importantly, being able to punish players who leave the server.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
Continuing on, as a moderator I have been able to resolve a significant amount of situations one way or another, but the issue I face almost daily is my inability to take serious action against mass rulebreakers as well as being unable to punish those who decide to leave mid-sit. While I can punish them if they return to the server, this rarely happens.

One of the most recent occasions this has happened is with a mass RDAer/RDMer, I was able to freeze and tp him to a sit; only to be greeted with a "fuck you" and an LTAP, sadly this is not the first time something like this has happened, and due to my rank, most of the time, they can return under a different name only to do the same thing again, while receiving no punishment.

Additionally, my rank also puts me at a disadvantage when it comes to searching "Building"/"RP" Houses for entities, I've been limited to using a Scan Master to search bases, but this doesn't always work.
Once I had a report of a district base which has had a building sign for nearly an hour, first it had to find a way in which was hard enough; then upon finding a printer I needed to find a way into a building only to find the printer prop blocked with about 15 props, making it almost impossible to remove the props to find the owner of the printer.
I tp'd the player who owned the props to remove them, and he did willingly but then as the props were deleted, a player left and upon entering there was no printer in sight; scan mastering again turned up nothing (conveniently).
In my opinion, my response time, as well as my lack of secrecy/discretion allowed a rule breaker to escape.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Upon talking to the Admin who banned you, we have discussed your ban and come to the conclusion that while you may have intentionally prop spammed which created lag on the server; the permanent ban is excessive considering this is your first ban.

Your ban will be shortened to 1 week, be sure to read the rules before returning to the server to prevent a similar situation in future.



Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words):
As a moderator, I can safely say I've made my fair share of mistakes, but I've learned from them and developed.
I have a friendly attitude and a helpful demeanor, and while most of the time I have no issues when being a moderator there are occasions where an admin rank is needed to deal with the most "extreme" of rule breakers.
Where I can handle the odd NLR'er or RDM'er I can struggle with multiple players breaking rules, due to my inability to use my physgun to instantly freeze them, instead having to use the TAB menu.
I see myself becoming an admin as giving the server as well as the community a positive change; the ability to spectate know rulebreakers as well as those who have been receiving multiple reports against them.
Ultimately reducing the number of players who will have their RP being affected by constant rule breakers.
