It's been annoying having to freeze people through the tab menu, and having to teleport to roofs, areas. Without no clip it was a bit hard. And when there was propblock, I had to request an admin instead of being able to do it myself. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): One time I had to keep kicking a player for mass propspam on server 3, I recall being the only staff member on at the time, till the point where i had to warn them 4 times to get temp. baned. (yes after the warnings they kept doing it) If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: First I would say congrats on becoming moderator, then this: Alright so welcome to Zarp staff. Now as stated in your application there are things you have to know. If you open your f1 menu you will see logs, warnings, admin requests. If you handle an f1 be sure to goto the player, and tell them you're there for their f1, then take them to a roof, then ask them for their side of the story, then ask what is the name of the player that rulebreaked, goto that person, say "I need you for an f1", go back to the reporter, and teleport the reported person. Ask the reported one their side of the story. If the reporter doesn't have solid proof, like a video or screenshot, then there is nothing you can do, unless the reportee confesses. Now, look at your tab menu, click on someone and you will see kick, only kick if they're mass rulebreaking, next is mute chat, use that if someone is being racist or disrespectfull, next is unban from job, use that if someone was false demoted, next you will see freeze, use this to freeze a player if they're misbehaving. Next you will see slay, use this (for example) if a mutent has a gun and refuses to put it down, you may slay them. Next you see mute globally, use this if someone is mic spamming. Next option is teleport, use this to teleport a player where your cursor is aiming at. Next option is back, use this to teleport a player back to original position, or back to spawn. That completes your training, good luck! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I would say hello player x, I have looked over your appeal, and it appears that this is your 1st ban, I will unban you completely, but, if you do it again, you will be re-baned. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words): Well as I've said above, I've had many difficulties as a moderator, having trouble getting to roofs by getting stuck when teleporting. I would like to become admin becuase I would like to be able to remove propblock, or propspam, without warning for propspam (trying to be gentle). I would be able to acces more areas like going under the map and making sure no one is printing under the map, if so I would warn them and tell them to stop. Being admin would enable me to also help people become a job after being unbaned, if the limit were to be reached. I would be able to no clip to a player if they were proppushing me to avoid a warning, ban, ETC. I could also be able to ban instead of kicking, like in my one example. I will get f1s done faster, (I would be able to remove propblock instead of calling an admin). I hope to become admin! I love being staff!! Also, i updated it to mutent becuase of the recent rulechange. |
