If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Hello, welcome to the Bhop staff team this letter will help you get a grasp on the commands and responsibilities you will have as Moderator. Responsibilities you will need to make sure that everyone on the server is having a good time and that there is no one hacking, exploiting, bullying players, etc. You may need to give out some punishments if you encounter one of these situations so here is a list of commands and what they do, to help to get a good understanding when to use them and how. 1. !amute/!unamute [Name/Steam ID] - this command will mute/unmute the player from using the Admin Chat Situation: you would use this when a player is spamming admin chat with irrelevant requests, questions or just random text. 2. !asay/ @ [Text Here] - this will allow a staff member to talk to other connected staff members without letting users see the conversation. Situation: you are dealing with a player that it appearing to be troublesome you use admin chat to ask a fellow staff member to assistance or advice. 3. !gag/!ungag [Name/Steam ID] - this command will Mute/Unmute a player from using their Microphone. Situation: this would be used if there is a player using abusive/Rude language or Mic spamming with either music or their voice after being requested to stop. 4. !mute/!unmute [Name/Steam ID] - this command will Mute/Unmute a player from using Chat. Situation: this would be used if there is a player using abusive/Rude language in Chat after being requested to stop. 5. !kick [Name/Steam ID] (Reason) - this will kick the player from the server. Situation: This would be used if there is a player breaking constant rules after being punished you would then kick them from the server as a punishment. the server as a punishment. After Reading this letter i hope you now have a better understanding of the commands and responsibilities you have as moderator thanks, TheNeonRaider Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I would not take the ban appeal since my opinion could be bias and the outcome could be unfair. I would request another admin to take over the appeal. But if i had to take the appeal since it involeves cheating i would ask advice from a higher up and then make my decision on what feed back i would get. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): I believe that I should be promoted because I see that there is only one admin in the Bhop staff team as a whole and I believe that I could be a great asset and will be able to help out when other staff are in need. Another reason is that one admin cannot be on the server at all times to ban/punish people that need it and I think the more admins there are on the Bhop staff team the better since there will be a higher chance for an admin to be on the server when needed.
