For example: "Player x kills player y because player x said he didn't like his prices in his shop. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: NLR is a rule which states that you cannot return to the same district for 3 minutes after you die there. Example: "Player x is raiding and player y kills him. Player x cannot return to that district for another 3 minutes." Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario: Metagaming is using outside RP chat (OOC and other means of communication) to give a message that will affect roleplay. An Example of Metagaming: (OOC) Player X: Player Y, we are being raided! (OOC) Player Y: Ok, I will be over there right away! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would first make sure player x is ok with being teleported by teleporting to him or by asking him. I would then bring him to a rooftop/quiet place to have our sit. I would ask for his side of the story and then make sure player y was ready to be teleported. I would then ask for player y's side of the story. If they both have plausible stories, I would ask player x if he had any proof. If he did not I would end the sit and keep an eye on player y. If he did have proof I would check player y's recent warnings and warn him if he did. I would then tell him why he shouldn't rdm and send them back. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would prepare for the sit just as I did with the RDM situation. Once I had heard both stories, I would ask player x for proof. If he has proof I would check player y's recent warnings and if he had any recent warnings I would warn him and tell her why breaking NLR is bad and that he needs to be careful. I would then send them back. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I would PM player x and nicely ask him to stop metagaming and if he does it again I would mute him. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words): If I were to be a moderator, I would answer as many F1's as possible but take great care in each one to make sure I make the correct decision as I take care in almost everything I do. If anyone needs help, I would stop what I was doing and help them--whether it be help with a game mechanic, a question, or an F1. When on the server I try to be as friendly as possible to newer players as I was once in their shoes and I know what it feels like to join a server and be extremely confused by the uniqueness of ZARP. I aspire to be the most helpful person I can be and I am not afraid to take criticism. In fact, I openly accept and/or ask for it. If you notice that something I did could have been done better, I will take your criticism and use it to improve the next time. I am always looking to improve. Thank you and I hope to see you in game! -viaDragonz |
