How would you handle a TS3 appeal?: Now as a Head Admin on Teamspeak, You have the ability to handle ban appeals, however, bare in mind you can't handle your own ban appeal so you need to wait until someone comes to you to handle your own ban appeal, Here's if I was handling someone's ban appeal:
ParaMontana has banned Max for 8 days for TOU
So firstly, I'd reply to the topic and say I'll handle this for you! Then I'd try to speak to the staff member who handled out the punishment on the player and then listen to his version of events as well as if we both feel like the banned player seems sorry for his actions and then we'll come to a verdict on whether or not to accept/ deny his appeal. Once the conclusion is made, I'd make this post:
Hello Player X,
I've spoken to the staff member who gave you the punishment you are appealing today and we've decided that you don't seem sorry for your actions and you need to learn you can't do this again. There for this has been Denied.
Teamspeak 3 Rules:
1 - No micspamming.
2 - No playing music unless permitted by those in your channel.
3 - Do not harass users.
4 - No recording. You can only record when another user is clearly breaking rules.
5 - Do not disturb anyone in a meeting room. You face a 1 day ban for causing disruption.
6 - Don't attempt to join private channels without permission, or meeting rooms.
7 - (INCLUDING ADMINS) Do not create private rooms. We don't have this facility at this time.
8 - No racism, discrimination, etc.
9 - Don't follow people around channels, even if it's a public channel. If they move, you don't follow them unless they want you to.
10 - Don't impersonate staff. This includes having the same name as a staff member or pretending that you are a staff when you are not.
11 - No Voice Changers / Soundboards / Excluding the Alienware SoundBlaster Pro Voice Changers
!
That's what I'll put if myself and the staff member feel like we should keep this player banned as they'll just do the same again.
If we both feel like he is sorry for their actions and we both believe that he has learned from his mistakes and then this is how I'd reply!
Hello Player X,
Myself & the admin who as banned you we both feel like you are sorry for your actions there for you will now be unbanned! However before you begin to join our server again, Please read the rules!

Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used
appropriately: Now as of right now, I'll show you how two separate stuff works, firstly we'll go over the Teamspeak Powers we have then we'll head towards Teamspeak Head Admins.
Ban
Now, bare in mind you need to follow the staff ethos when you're banning someone. If it was me banning a user from Teamspeak first I'd tell him off and give him a talking to so the player knows what he done was wrong and he can't do it again as he may get in trouble for it. To ban someone you just right click on their name then a menu pops up and you can add days/Hours/Minutes towards the ban then the user will be banned from a certain amount of time you've banned them for!
Kick from Channel
For example, if you're in a gang channel and a player joins and you're discussion stuff you can either move them out or kick them from the channel. Now if you kick them from the channel it'll return the player back to Lobby/AFK room, To do this right click then click "Kick from Channel".
Kick from Server
If a player isn't listening to what you're telling them off for, If you feel like a kick from the server will be more beneficial than a ban then the player basically leaves the server however they can join back at any time! I'd mostly use this if for example a player is trolling and is breaking TOU you might want to speak to him and if he does it again then Kick him from the Server! To do this just right click and click "Kick from Server".
Give Ranks:
After every week they are meetings regarding to accepting and denying applications for that server, Meetings are hosted on Teamspeak (ts.zarpgaming.com) There you can see meeting times, So after every week when we accept staff members they will be given the rank of what they applied for, For example if I applied for Admin on SSRP I'd be given the SSRP Admin rank if I was accepted, To do that you Right click on the person's names and click Set Server Group from there you can select a rank to give to the person who was accepted. However, be 100% sure that the person says he's staff and he needs a TeamSpeak badge make sure you ask them to speak/message you on steam just to make sure it's the right person!
Remove Ranks: After every meeting, Sometimes staff members are demoted and when staff members resign then they need there rank removed to stop confusion and people attending the meetings if they're not staff on that server. If for example, someone has resigned from a staff position then you can right click and then select Set Server Group then unclick the staff rank that they had.
Move Client If I saw a player breaking rules then I'd left click on their name and then drag them to a spacer that is available, Then I'd explain what happened or if they just want to be in a spacer to talk about something privately then that will be fine.
Edit Channel: For example if you're hosting a party or you're having a really fun time so for example if you're having a rap battle in the Music Room and you don't want others to interrupt you. You can right click on the channel and then you can see more stuff, Such as you can change the Description of that said channel, however, you're never needed to do that! So, for example, you're having a karaoke night if you right click on the channel you're in and then put the "Talk Power" up then people who don't have granted talk power can't speak so you can carry on what you're doing!
Give Talk Power: So as you can see above, You can give yourself Talk power and others Talk Power however it's very rare when you actually have to use this command as most of the time you don't really need to like I said it's only for special stuff like events on Teamspeak etc. To do this right click on the channel and click Edit then you can see "Needed Talk Power" if you put that to 1 or anything, then only people with Granted Talk power can speak!
Teamspeak Head Admin Powers:
Now bare in mind, I only know a one of these as I've saw them happen on myself
.
Manage Teamspeak bans:
As a Head Admin, you're now able to handle other TeamSpeak bans and you can speak to the staff member who banned them and you can accept/deny appeals as well as manage other bans!!
What would I do differently with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):
Now, they're many stuff that I have ideas for and how to improve our teamspeak server, Here are a few of my ideas!
Wait Time
As they're only 1 Teamspeak head Admin and everyone else is above them, Sometimes you can see that we're a bit limited on our response time to when we're responding to appeals witch is made on Teamspeak, If I got this position hopefully I could take the stress and being able to speed up the response time due to my activity on TS as well as many others!
Training:
Currently, if you get accepted for Teamspeak staff, You can only get trained by a Teamspeak Head Admin and above, sometimes they're limited and I'd be able to train Teamspeak staff as well as many others as I'm currently SSRP Head Admin. So with my experience on training people from SSRP I could use this to my advantage and train Teamspeak Staff members!
Give Ranks:
For example, if a Teamspeak staff member has re-installed Teamspeak, I could give them their correct staff positions across this community rather than Only Forum Staff all the way down to Bunny Hop staff ranks, I could give them their ranks instead of waiting for a while as currently the Teamspeak Head Admins and above are stretched!
Managing:
Currently, Every Head Admin on Teamspeak and above either are afk at night or sleeping, I could be online and managing the Teamspeak server. Now as we only heave 1 Teamspeak Head Admin and the rest are above him, I believe that I could be there when he's in school/busy with something else as due to my activity I'd be excellent for this role. For example, here are a few situations that might occur when I'm on and no Teamspeak Head Admin is online/available.
Ban Appeals
Currently like I said above, We only have 1 head admin and the rest are abve him, Sometimes when he's in school or everyone else is busy then we need to wait for someone to be free to handle TeamSpeak ban appeal as everyone else is either doing more in-depth stuff or is unable due to school/work.
Give Ranks
Sometimes, Teamspeak staff and above redownload there TeamSpeak and as a Teamspeak staff I can't give them the ranks that they have obtained in this community so we'll need to wait for someone to be free to be able to give the person their rank back.
EXTRA CREDIT: How much does RedPowder sell client Icons for?: $50,000,000
Why me?
Activity:
Right now as I'm writing out this application, I've been active a lot on Teamspeak whether I'm speaking with users or dealing with staff situations and being there for everyone who needs shown the right way to do things and then make them realise that if they don't take my advice they could go down the wrong path and sooner or later then they'll be no longer to be able to play on Teamspeak. I'd say being active is the key to improving as you want to be there always on guard ready to deal with every situation that comes towards you or you realize yourself.
Experince:
As I'm a
Head Admin on SSRP as well as
Global Moderator on the forums as well as
Teamspeak Staff & Surf, I've hopefully shwon this community what I'm capable of doing when I put my mind set towards the stuff that needs done and I'll do it to the best of my ability.
Communication:
Right now, I'd say that I try my best to communicate with all kinds of people and staff, Some hard to crack and some really fun people to speak to and deal with, Hopefully as you can see with my skill I can contact and deal with many situations due to my experience on SSRP I could handle Teamspeak problems a lot better than I can do right now as I'm a bit limited on what I'm trying to do.
Thanks everyone for looking at my application, All feedback is appreciated and I'd love to see your replies!
