[How would you handle a TS3 Appeal?]:

I am a Super Admin on TTT and therefore i already know how to handle appeals but these are examples anyway.

At first, i would handle an appeal by gathering all the evidence for and against the player who has banned and i would speak to the staff member who banned him, saying why he has done it and what for.

Lets say that if Onion had banned someone from TS3 for bulling another player and onion had sufficant proof of it, then i would watch/listen to the video that made and thoroughly look through the players appeal, if they sounded apologetic in their appeal and were truly sorry for what they did then i would talk with Onion and say how sorry this player must be.

If i were to accept the appeal i would say the following:

After reading you appeal and speaking to Onion about your actions, i have decided to remove your ban because you seem genuinely sorry and i trust you not to do it again. If you need any help with rules or a guide on what the rulse are feel free to contact me or any other TS3 staff member.

And example of me denying the player would be like this:

After reviewing the evidence that i have received and speaking with Onion i have decided to deny this appeal because of the way you treated the player even after being verbally warned a few times, you will have to wait out your ban or appeal in 3+ days before it may get accepted, you also showed that you were not sorry for your actions and therefore the ban will stay. If you are unfamiliar with the rules i am more than happy to provide you them and make sure that in the future you follow the TOU.


[Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately]:


[Give rank]: After a TS3 meeting has taken place, some appeals may have been accepted and this command would grant the person TS3 staff and if you were a Head Admin you could also grant that too. To give a rank, you right-click on someones name and click 'Set Server Group' which will then add them to the chosen group.


[Remove rank]: After the TS3 meeting, some staff members may have been demoted due to things such as abuse, inactivity etc. To remove their rank you can right click and then select 'Set Server Group' then click the staff rank that they had and it will be removed.


[Kick Client]: I would only use this command as a second to last resort as it is a pretty big thing. If somebody were to break the TOU then I would move them to a spacer and verbally warn them not to do it again. I would then move then back into the room the were originally in, if I hear that they haven't changed and are still breaking the TOU then I would right-click their name, select kick and then type in the reason which would be breaking TOU.


[Ban Client]: This is a command which I would use only as a last resort. If somebody had joined the server after being kicked by me or any other staff member then I would move them into a spacer and simply tell them why they were kicked and this is their last warning before they get banned, then I would move them back into their room that they were in before the kick (unless of course they were bulling someone in there then I would just move them to the AFK section). If they continue breaking the TOU then I would right-click their name and select Ban, then I would type in the reason and the length of the ban.


[Move Client]: If somebody needed a talking to about breaking the TOU then I would click their name and drag it into a free spacer to tell them off or to verbally warn them. I would also use this command if somebody had something they wanted to say to me, possibly an issue they had with another player or a ZARP server in general.



[What would I do different with my new powers?]: If i were to get these new powers it would make the only current Head Admin on Team speak life so much easier, I would be able to train new people who get accepted in the meetings and i would be able to handle unban appeals which normal take a while to be handled as most of the people with the access rights to do so are busy so it would be a huge benefit to them. While i have been TS3 staff i have had no report abuse threads about me and the people who i have had taken action on have learned from their actions and are now much better then they were before. I feel that i should get this position because i am active almost every day on TS and help a lot of people from all servers with any issues that they may have and i make sure they get sorted fairly. Throughout my time at ZARP i have shown dedication to TTT and TS3 as i am always on them and i always make sure everyone gets along and has fun even if it means i have to sit out and work hard so that other players can enjoy the game or server. I am also trusted with my powers as i hold a Super Admin rank on TTT and i feel that i can be trusted for TS3 Head Admin now as well.
