Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): I have not encountered this yet, but if I had I would use the powers to try and keep the user at bay(mutes & gags) a kick if necessary. As Moderator you don't get many commands so it isn't hard to keep track of so first off we want to make sure you have a key bound to open the ULX menu this can be done a number of ways, here is how. bind key "say !menu"

bind key "xgui"(what I use) Gag/ungag - This command will mute target player(s) microphone, use this when a player is spamming mic chat. Mute/unmute - This command will mute target player(s) text, use this when a players is spamming text chat. That is all under that tab, the next tab is "Fun" in here is only one command and that is Slay - This command will kill the target player(s), only use this if a player is abusing an exploit to skip parts of the map. Next tab you find is "Utility" in here is the kick command, use this if a player has an offensive name and refuses to change it. Now Moderators have access to AWarn to warn a player you use !warn "SteamID" "Reason" Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I can see that you are sorry for your actions and that it is your first offence your ban will be removed but if you are caught doing such things again you will be back on the banned list. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): Due to my odd timezone I play at a time most staff are away whether it be asleep at school/work, so this allows me to be on during late nights according to the server timezone although there might be a lack of players on at this time it doesn't mean there isn't the odd rulebreaker on. I feel my time as Moderator has allowed me to get a grasp of the commands and has made me ready for the role of Admin, I am also trusted in the community as I currently hold the rank of Admin on the SSRP Servers and Section Moderator for Server Applications. |
