Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
The time I spent as a moderator, allowed me to learn a lot. I've learned more about the dynamic of the server and how to think when I go into a situation. The time I've spent as a moderator as molded me into a way of thinking that will allow me to succeed as a moderator and as an admin.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
A situation I've encountered was when someone proppushing, propsurfing, and spamming chat and attempting to offend with their racist words. I used the warn system, and warned them for their rule breaks and they rejoined after the kick and contiinued. I then warned them again after they started to break the rules and they were then banned for an hour.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Congratulations! You were accepted as a moderator! You now have access to a list of commands that include Kick, Mute Chat, Unban from Job, Freeze, Slay, Mute Globally, Teleport, Goto, Bring, and Back (Last position or Spawn) and warn . Kick removes someone from the server after you specify a reason. Use this for extreme cases! You also have Mute Chat, this disallows any typing in the chat, this includes OOC and Chat commands such as /job. You have unban from job which allows you to unban someone from a certain job they were banned/demoted from. You have freeze which freezes a player in the place they are standing. They will become invulnerable to all damage and will only be able to die from the slay command. The slay command kills the target, there are multiple ways to slay someone but they all do the same thing in the end. Mute globally mutes the voice chat so no one can hear the user talk. This mute is server side, not client. Then you have teleport , goto, bring, and back. Teleport does what its called, it teleports the target to your crosshair. Goto allows you to teleport to the target. Bring, brings the target to either yourself or someone else. Back is used to teleport someone where they were before their last teleport or you can send someone back to spawn. Last but no least you have the warn command. The warn command warns the target with a reason, usually a rule break, and it allows other staff members to see what the target was talked to about. If someone rdms you warn them for rdm and all of the other staff members will be able to see that you warned them for RDM.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would say, This is your first, and seeing you put a lot of effort in the request and you seem genuinely sorry about what you did, your ban will be appealed. Please make sure that you follow all of the server rules, and if you have any issues within the server to make an F1.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
I feel I should be promoted because I feel I've done as best a job as I could to moderate the server and I feel I'd be able to increase the capacity to which I could administrate. I've been trying my hardest to get on as much as I can especially with the holidays and school events that have been going on. I've been doing all of the F1's I see and I try to help as much as I can. With admin powers,I will be able in help more people with their problems, and will be able to play the player base much happier.
