Random Death Match (RDM) is where a player kills another player without any valid Roleplaying reason. Valid reasons include being raided, robbed, ect. An example of this could be for instance player A is building a shop whilst player B wonders into player A's building area. So player A kills player B. This is known as RDM. However many cases where Random Death Match is called, it's not actually RDM. For example, player A (Citizen) is running along the street. Player B has a job that allows mugging. Player B shouts, "Give me $2,000 or I will kill you!" Player A fails to meet Player B's demands. So player B then kills them. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. New life rule is what occurs when a player dies and respawns. They begin a new life and so they forget everything from their past life. For example losing all memories of their past experiences. They are not able to return to their previous location without waiting at least 3 minutes. The NLR is enforced in ZARP Dark RP as it keeps the flow of the server on a Roleplaying level. An example scenario of this would be where a player who is defending against a raid is killed. They then cannot return to their previous location until the NLR timer expires. However if a player was RDM'd, that player will have to request an admin or moderator using the F1 command. They then must keep their distance to allow an admin or moderator to deal with the accused. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is where a player uses OOC (out of character) to contact another player and provide them with in game knowledge such as a raid in which they are unaware of. An example scenario of this would be that a players shop is being robbed and there is no protection close by. That player would then use OOC to call for assistance from other players (possibly friends) around the map that are unaware of the robbery. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would begin by heading to player X, ensuring that they are calm, proceed to question the recent scenario and ask whether or not they have any proof. [screenshots, recordings, etc] After checking the logs, I would then proceed to bring player Y to the situation, with valid reason of course. I would begin by questioning player Y of their side to the recent scenario, listening carefully and comparing alongside the scenario given by player X. With valid reason, I would issue player Y with a warning for RDM. If either there was not enough proof, or I wasn't fully satisfied that a rule was broken, no warning would be given and both players would be returned to their previous locations. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Like most situations, the console is not enough proof to warn a player. Firstly, I would begin by going to player X, asking them for their side of the story, again asking if there is any proof. With valid reason I would proceed to bring player Y. Asking them of their side to the story. If i believe enough proof is there, I would issue a warning to player Y. However, if no other proof was given apart from the console logs, then I personally would not issue a warning. Even in peak times, the console can be quiet. I would send both parties back to their previous locations. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided First of all, I would go to player X, and remind them of the Metagaming rule. If this is their first offence, I would personally issue a verbal warning. I would do this from previous experience as many new players are unsure as to what the metagaming rule actually is. If, for whatever reason I have had to speak with a player for a second time. Then I would issue an official warning for breaking the metagaming rule. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I should be chosen for the chance to be a Moderator as I'm a very active person that offers support to other players and staff in the best way I can. I'm a very enthusiastic player that enjoys the ZARP Gaming community and have done so for a very long time. I desire to be a part of the friendly staff knowing that I can exceed all expectations that others have of me. I am a very mature and friendly person that has a lot of spare time to offer towards the server. I strongly believe that I am perfect to be staff at ZARP Gaming as I am a very welcoming, reliable and responsible person. I understand that being a Moderator can be extremely stressful at times, but I am fully prepared for any situation that may come my way, by remaining calm, friendly and reasonable at all times. I know that if I was given the chance, I wouldn't let anyone down. I will remain advisable and fair at all times while ensuring justice has been achieved and checking that both sides to each argument are resolved. I will keep a watchful eye over the servers at all times. I would sustain order by making sure that rules are followed and players are content. I would offer support to any Moderators or Admins that need assistance whilst they're on duty. Over the past year with ZARP Gaming I feel that it's time to give back to the community and help take the servers to great achievements. I strongly hope you consider me to be a Moderator, I would do you proud. Thank you for taking the time to read this! |

You attitude isn't too good. To be fair, that is the forums. I take SSRP more serious because it is my favorite service and I want it to be rid of rulebreakers and stay alive.
