Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command.
A situation in which it would be appropritate to use the ban command would be, for example, a player has been continuously causing serious problems for the server. (Continuous LTAP, hacking after being warned and kicked etc.). If a situation arose where someone was causing continuous problems, I would first give them a warning, then kick them and then, if they came back and didn't stop whatever it was that lead to it, use the ban command.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would first of all check the amount of time that player x had been banned for. If player x had been banned for at least 2 weeks then I would unban them but make sure to keep an eye on them in-game to make sure that they are following the rules properly. If player x had not been banned for at least 2 weeks, then I would check any punishments before they were banned and ask a few players/staff members if they had experienced any problems with player x. If player x had been perfectly fine except for the occasion in which they were cheating and they had been banned for at least 1 week, I would unban them but again make sure to keep an eye on them in-game.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words).
I think that I should be promoted because, in the time since I became a Moderator on Zarp TTT, I have been trying my hardest to cut down the amount of people breaking the server rules and handling as many reports as I can (difficult to do with the RDM Manager being broken). I think that in my attempts to cut down the rulebreaking, I have in fact been rather successful and I know the rules better than even some current Admins (constantly reminding a certain Admin of some rules). As a Moderator, I feel that I have helped the Zarp community to continue being friendly and a fun place for everyone (except the rulebreakers when they get punished, obviously) and I think that as an Admin I could continue striving to help Zarp to become even better, friendlier and free of rulebreakers. When I started out as a Moderator, not so familiar with the whole thing, I relied on higher staff to help me out to learn exactly what to do and what I could and couldn't punish for, and now I want to be able to go higher in the chain and continue to help both the players on Zarp and the newer members of the staff team.
