Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
RDM Is killing some without a valid RP reason.
Example:
Player A is mad that his printer got destroyed and he died, Player A saw that Player B did it.
So Player A finds Player B and kills Player B. (This is classed as "Revenge RDM" and also "NLR")
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
When you die in a certain district (Seen at the top of the screen what district you died in.) you can't go back to that district and you forget any information regarding your death.
Example:
Player A Dies in District X by him falling off his base. He goes back to make sure his base isn't being raided and to collect his printer money. If he used a tactical insertion or was defib'd NLR wouldn't apply.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Saying RP related information or IC info (In Character) in OOC (Out Of Character). (PMing, using an advert, group/clan chat or broadcasting doesn't count as metagaming. E.G. /advert The bank is being raided by Player X. Go get him! is not metagaming)
Example:
Player X died due to a raid (Player X is new to DarkRP and didn't read some of the rules but he knows the basics of DarkRP), player X then asks in /ooc (or //) for Player Y to kill the raiders. This is metagaming. If Player X knew the rules (assuming Player X is not a troll) he'd use /pm which wouldn't be metagaming.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First i'd check the job of Player Y at the time (If that's possible) and gun that was used to kill player X, if the job of player y was a job that can't have a gun/use that type of gun then i'd warn for RDM and FailRP (A Single Warn, if verbal was giving by other mods/me (i'd communicate with other mods to know if a verbal was given if they're on the server at that time)) , unless they've had multiple warnings of rdm before and they're active warnings, then i'd ban Player Y/call a staff with a higher position to deal with player y). If the job of player y can have a gun then i'd ask for CLEAR proof that it was RDM (e.g. video/screenshots ect.). If Player X has no proof i'd end the f1. If Player X has clear proof then i'd give a verbal warn to Player Y or give a real warning (if other verbals were given). If Player Y broke a rule i'd ask Player Y to do /motd in chat and read the rules if it was a verbal (As real warnings have a "read the rules" option IIRC.)
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I'd check both districts of the deaths (assuming player y died twice in the same district (Ignoring RDM rule for this example, but if player Y says it was RDM i'd continue the f1 after player X's F1 is completed)), If the deaths are from the same district (unless spawn as someone could kill you twice there without player Y moving (As Being AFK in spawn when you have NLR is not against the rules), i'd ask for more evidence) then i'd have to ask for further evidence (e.g. a video to prove that the deaths/kills were between 3 minutes (as NLR only lasts 3 minutes)) anyways as a peak time means nothing to the time of the deaths. If there are time stamps of the deaths and the time stamps confirm that the deaths were between 3 minutes AND the deaths were same district i'd give a verbal for first warning/real warning if verbal was already given. If there is no CLEAR proof then i'd end the f1.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I'd say in /ooc (or //) for Player X to stop metagaming. If Player X asks what metagaming is, i'd explain what metagaming is.
If Player X does it again, i'd freeze Player X and bring Player X to a roof and give a more formal warning (still verbal) and fully explain in person what metagaming is. If Player X does it a third time, i'd freeze Player X and bring Player X to a roof and give a real warning and ask Player X to read the rules fully. If Player X does it AGAIN, then i'd call a higher up to deal with Player X or give Player X another warning.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
ZARP should choose me to be a member of staff because i am usually active {AKA No Social Life}. I am usually free {AKA i am bad at rp} so i'll be able to respond to f1s pretty quickly. I don't get really get angry. I'm (mostly) friendly and social-able.
Should be consistently active until i have work experience {In May or something. I'll make a zarp post if i am still a mod/ I remember} or if i have any big tests coming up, after i should be able to come back and be consistently active again. I am not biased (i hope). I will be playing on s2/3 more this week
