How would you handle a TS3 appeal? Teamspeak ban appeals are exactly like SSRP Ban Appeals that I am really experinced in to handling as I'm currently a SSRP Super Administrator so I've gained alot of experince on handling appeals and handing situations where someone needs to be unbanned or have a spoken to on why they are banned. If you're wondering on how I'd handle a Teamspeak ban appeal then this is how I'd do it:




Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used
appropriately. They are many situations where Teamspeak staff can be in use, Here are the commands that we use to help us aid Zarp Gaming:

Give Ranks:
After every week they are meetings regarding to accepting and denying applications for that server, Meetings are hosted on Teamspeak (ts.zarpgaming.com) There you can see meeting times, So after every week when we accept staff members they will be given the rank of what they applied for, For example if I applied for Admin on SSRP I'd be given the SSRP Admin rank if I was accepted, To do that you Right click on the person's names and click Set Server Group from there you can select a rank to give to the person who was accepted.

Remove Ranks: After every meeting, Some times staff members are demoted and when staff members resign then they need there rank removed to stop confusion and people attending the meetings if they're not staff on that server. If for example someone has resigned from a staff position then you can right click and then select Set Server Group then unclick the staff rank that they had.

Kick Client If someone came on the Teamspeak and started breaking the Terms Of Use first of all I'd move them in to a spacer in witch nobody uses, Then I'd speak to them regarding the rules that they've broken, Then I'd tell them off and then proceed to move them back in the channel that they were in before I moved them out. If I then hear that the person I spoken to is still breaking the Terms & Conditions then I'd kick them from the server then they should learn that they can't do that stuff in what they were kicked for, To this you can use this command by right clicking on the player that is not following TOU and then press Kick client then type in your reason.

Ban Client If the person that I just kicked from the server proceeds to join back then I'd move them back in a spacer and then tell them off and explain why I've kicked them so then they have that last chance before I need to ban them. Then if they proceed to break more rules then I'd have no other option to ban them from our TeamSpeak server by right clicking on there name and pressing Ban Client then I'd need to type in a reason and then put in how much time they will be banned for.

Move Client If I saw a player breaking rules then I'd left click on there name and then drag them to a spacer that is available, Then I'd explain what happened or if they just want to be in a spacer to talk about something privately then that will be fine.

Ban List If a player has been banned then there name & IP will be along side there ban so you can see who is currently banned and what for, Remember you can't handle other players ban's just your own. So if you're handling a ban appeal then you need to speak to a Teamspeak Head Admin to handle it for you. If you'd like to see the ban list press Tools on Teamspeak then go to Ban List or you can press Control + Shift + B for quickness, Then you can see all the people who are currently banned and you can see your own bans if you've highlighted Highlight bans.


What would I do different with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words). They're alot of stuff that I have ambitions and dreams to do for this community that I am currently limited to, If I got granted with this opportunity then I can bring many new stuff to the Teamspeak Server and even use it on other servers, I could handle more appeals while ParaMontana and the owners can't. I have a really good bond and relationship with 3 seperate Staff Teams, Such as Forums, Teamspeak & SSRP, If I got granted with Teamspeak Head Admin then I could help users on all servers that I'm active on and have a staff rank on. As I'm on Teamspeak for longer than 10 hours I could help out users as well as staff members with questions and even handle appeals. As a Teamspeak Head Admin I can show other people how to be a respectful staff member and to learn that they're always ways to improve on stuff you think you're good at, I could help people with my new abililities and bring staff team's closer together so everyone is heard.

RoleModel: If I got granted with this powers then users as well as staff will come to me with problems and I'm willing to be here and listen to anything that will help users enjoy our services as well as Staff so they know that there voices are heard and we will try our best to meet there needs and questions when other people can't.

Why Me?
As you can see, I've obtained 3 staff ranks while 2 being a very trusted position, I'm active on every server that I'm staff on and I'm willing to experience many new situations that could come my way if it does occur. Right now I'm SSRP Super Admin & Global Moderator as well as Teamspeak Staff. I've been here for a while and I'm showing many times where I can be useful and show my abilility to help the community as a whole and look at things from a different prospective and show how our community is the best and to show users how experience we are at doing our jobs.
I hold 3 staff ranks and I've got loads of activity on across them all since I first became a staff member I've always been able to play 10-15 hours per day depending on the circumstances and what I need to do in real life, I try to help out as much people as I can in this community as it's nice to be helpful to players so they know who to come to.
Yeah I know they're so many other candidates out there who is ready for the position as I am ready for it, I could be here available to help many people and even improve new stuff to the community. If I got granted with this opportunity I could use it to good use and help everyone to the best of my ability as well as my friendliness and keen to look in to situations with a bigger picture

I am afraid of when there is a staff dispute you won't be able to handle it as fast as you could,
This is due you having to type and not being able to use your microphone.
